If you walked in on your high school sweetheart and husband of ten years in a compromising position with your best friend, what would you do? Would you kick him out, serve him divorce papers, and leave the small town in North Carolina where you grew up, taking his dog with you just to spite him?Because that’s what I did.I have no idea why I chose Santa Monica as the place of my rebirth, but here … the place of my rebirth, but here I am, in the land of earthquakes, mudslides, and wildfires, starting over when most women my age are just starting out.
When I come across the bucket list my mother scratched out before she died, I decide this may just be the kick in the pants I need to figure out who I am and where I’m meant to be. Stepping outside my comfort zone, I set out to accomplish everything she always wanted to do but never got the chance.
But falling in love was never on that list.

I absolutely loved this romantic comedy. I laughed out loud! Such a contrast of her other books, such as A Beautiful Mess, but none the less, loved it!!!! Even my husband enjoyed the book.
The Other Side of Someday was a good read by T.K. Leigh. Baylee left her high school sweetheart and husband of ten years when she found him in a compromising position with her best friend. She left the small town in North Carolina and went to Santa Monica. She meets Sebby by chance when her and her dog ran into him. She finds the bucket list her mom wasn’t able to finish before she died. She decides to complete the bucket list but never expected to fall in love along the way. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.
Very touching story of a young woman who discovers her husband is cheating on her with her best friend. To deal with her disappointment, she walks away from him and her East Coast home town to start over in California. There she attempts to resurrect her memories of her mother and discovers in a search of her mother’s papers her bucket list–complete. Most of us have an idea of a bucket list, perhaps not written down or maintained formally, but there are those things we really want to do. Perhaps it is the trauma our heroine has suffered or just a part of starting over, but she decides to complete the bucket list of her mother as a way of rediscovering memories of her. The adventure is at times hilarious, other times dangerous, then poingant, but always character building. Along the way she learns a lot about herself and her life. You will love the outcome of the journey to complete the bucket list. You must read this book.
Typical story and ending but easy feel good read
After a bad marriage getting back in the dating game can be hard. This is so true for Baylee and in this book we get to see how she does. Moving to a new city she finds the best friends she has ever had and with a few blunders the perfect man for her. This book was great to listen to.
The Other Side of Someday
By: T. K. Leigh
Narrated by: Natalie Duke
What do you do when you find your husband sleeping with your best friend? You move to LA!!! Baylee, after 10 years of marriage to man she doesn’t really love has left what she knows to go in search of the life she wants. Taking her dog Sport, she bumps into a good looking man with his dog, and there is instant attraction. Little does she know this man is her neighbor, Sebastian, better known as Sebby. And they set off to find a nothing but friends relationship. But can men and women be just friends? I fell in love with this book. It’s full of humor, at themselves at each other and just in general. I smiled, at times angry and frustrated and even a little sad. But what this book brought to me was that there is always a second chance, and sometimes you have to make it. These two while having a great friendship were tripping over each other…finding that change in their relationship and not wanting to cross the line. It’s such a great story, wonderful characters and a fun escape.
Natalie Duke narrates this book to perfection. She has wonderful comedic timing and really enjoyed her voice. She has a great array of voices, and flowed easily from one to the other. I loved her performance.

My 1st book by this author and it won’t be my last. I had a beautiful fun time with this story. With these characters, which we have so many to love. Baylee’s journey!!! OMG. Fabulous. I’m so extremely happy for her.
This was romance/womans fiction and I LOVED it.

“Love hard and without abandon. Love with no regrets. Love like there’s no tomorrow. For so many people, there isn’t a tomorrow. Don’t take it for granted.”
This was such a sweet and fun friends to lovers romance. I really loved Baylee and Sebby even though these two clearly fell for each other, but are determined to feed into the men and women can be just friends notion. I really felt bad for Baylee because she really fell for Sebby after all she’s been through and it was so hard remaining his friend. But her personal growth was great and she was really funny. This was a fun read and I really enjoyed it.
