I love historical fiction and I’m a particular fan of Philippa Gregory- love the way she writes! Very easy and entertaining!
we are so familiar with Anne Boleyn/ Henry VIII story but this tells from a different perspective that made it fresh and interesting again. It fleshed out the dry history with a human dimension.
Wonderful book
I enjoy the historical nature of Ms. Gregory’s books. The hunger for power will lead the characters to unbelievable lengths to curry favor with King Henry VIII.
I love historical novels and Philippa Gregory writes such interesting ones. She brings the characters to life while teaching about the history of the times. I love her writing style as well.
Wonderful look into the forces behind the scenes in the royal court. Hard to put down. Interesting characters caught between what they want and what they must do.

Love historical fiction, especially British. Phillipa Gregory is an wonderful author.
