a great author an interesting book you feel you see her desperate problems and dangerous choices
Great read.
What a story! I did not know that Anne Boleyn’s sister was tied up in King Henry’s escapades! A tragic tale.
Another winner from Philippa Gregory! I was captivated right away.
I just loved this thick and juicy book! It was very entertaining and transported me to another time and place. I was invested in the characters and, after finishing the book, I looked for more books by Philippa Gregory. In my opinion, this is the best one.
Good historical fiction
I think the author has created an immersive trip into the period, fleshing out the key figures in this sad historical event. Even though we know the outcome from our schooldays the book shows just how the Boleyn daughters were used as pawns to push the family up the ladder of fame and fortune. Fascinating.
I love Philippa Gregory’s Tudor historical books
They are informative
Easy to read
First Gregory book i read. Not all her books are as good. But i enjoyed this on.
My first experience with Phillipa Gregory was a happy one.
A little heavy on the sex details with less actual historical fact and information than I prefer.
Well-written historical novel.
What can I day about the Queen of historic romance novels. Her books are informative with a twist of fiction to make the read fast and easy, while letting yu in on actual historic events.
Phillipa Gregory is a master of historical fiction and really knows how to bring her characters to life. I devoured this book; loved everything about it and would definitely recommend if you love historical fiction.
