Elizabethan England at it’s best.
Love to read books from this era
One of my favorites.
Good book
Immensely informative look at time and british realm leading to elizabethan England. Graphic, not for young historical fiction readers but details are vivid and move the story well.
if you like to know what when on in the court of king henry the 8th
This book can only be considered historical fiction if it is about the history of an alternative universe. Good historical fiction should be ground in history. Despite many well received books on the Tudor period in general and Anne Boleyn specifically, the author chose to rely on a book that has been panned by historians.
Read a long time ago. Loved it, lots of history, made characters come to life
A ‘can’t put it down’ book.
The book is fiction but is very believable that the events happened the way the author has written. Her books never disappoint.
Amazing read. The realism and true history used as a backdrop for what should have been a pure love story is fantastic. Scheming family and the fate of an entire country drive this story from start to finish.
Every proven false story about Anne Boleyn is here, presented as fact. Terrible book.
This authors knowledge of history is wonderful. She wove a good story about a little known fact.
A little shaky on history but very entertaining.
I like history and enjoyed learning more about Anne Boleyn
I don’t like her writing.
