The man I love is getting married. And it isn’t to me.I’ve been in love with Jonathan for as long as I can remember. I loved him as a girl. I loved him as a teenager. I loved him as an adult. I love him still. But he doesn’t love me. How could he? He’s a billionaire and I’m just the butler’s daughter. But when I attend a party in my Gucci dress and fancy heels, he sees me in a whole new light. And … whole new light.
And it couldn’t have come at a worse time. His high-powered wedding is in two weeks.
It falls to his older brother, Christopher, to protect Jonathan from himself. As always. And this time, that means spiriting me away and tempting me with my dream job on a tropical island.
Here, I learn that Christopher is so much more than I ever gave him credit for. He gets me in a way no man ever has. His body completes me in ways I didn’t even know possible. And the way he looks at me makes me think he could be the one.
I’ve always been in love with Jonathan, but now that I’ve been with Christopher, I find I can’t choose. Some people go their whole lives without finding one love of their life. Now I have to decide between two.

I’m kind of,really disappointed with this book.Firts,I’m not sure why is this labeled as “love triangle” romance?Second, why is it said that Jonathan is “love of Nora’s life”?Their relationship is non-existent.Literary.
Nora’s father is a butler for Lewis family.Lewis’s are coming from old money, they are very rich and extravagant, associating only with people from their class. So,Jonathan and Christopher are royalties and Nora is no-one in their world.
Since she was a little girl,Nora has had a crush on Jonathan. He is young and wild with a reputation and of course not a part of her world, but that didn’t stop her. When she find’s out that he is getting married, she is crushed. So she decides to go home and find out the truth for herself.Obviously she has no chance with him,he doesn’t even remember who she is when he sees her,but his brother Christopher does.Christoper is calm, cool and collected. He takes care of Lewis family business and therefore has no time for fun.
This book was in many ways ridiculous.Nora’s crush was childish and stupid. She made up everything in her mind, only to get disappointed when reality hits her.She got on my nerves all the time.Jonathan’s “injury” was ridiculous. It pissed me of.The way Christopher acted was a little bit not-normal.
This book was funny and witty and the only reason why I gave it three stars is because of description of Caribbean(It felt like I was there). But I couldn’t connect to any of the characters and that just got on my nerves.
This is the first book by this Author that I have read and I will be looking for more by her. A well written story with twists, turns, and romance with a little bit of drama. This is Christopher and Nora’s Story about everything they go through to get their happy ending with Caribbean Island to fall on love on.
I think the thing I appreciated most about this book is that even though there’s two heroes, it’s a really tame love triangle. I’m not a fan of love triangles, so the way the author handled this one impressed me a lot. Nora has all kinds of angst over which brother her feelings are for, which feelings are real, and which are only part of a crush, and I kind of loved all that drama. What I wasn’t able to appreciate as much was how young these characters behave. I felt that many of their actions showed a distinct lack of emotional maturity, and that sometimes frustrated me. However, I adored watching the relationship develop. And when the chaos swirled around her, I was just as angry as Nora over the way that episode played out. I would just about kill to know what the brothers were thinking during these events, but I know this would be a very different story that way and I can’t say if I’d love it more than I already do.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.
This is more like a 3.5 star rating. The story was cute. I had issues with Nora. She held onto the fact that she was the butler’s daughter and neither Lewis brother would look her way when in reality, one was always looking at her. It just wasn’t the brother she was into. I found Nora very wishy washy. She was into Jonathon so hard but he’s never even looked her way. She always noticed everything about him. It was her dream when he picked her up from the airport. There was a hidden agenda playing out as well. I found it kinda like a slap in the face for Nora. I mean she was trying to fit in their world and it back fired on her. Christopher was pretty easy to figure out. I mean he’s the oldest, so of course he’s running the company and doing all the business. He’s all business all the time and desperately needs fun in his life. Nora shows him how to do this and breaks down his walls. Nora is a very open character who wears her emotions on her sleeve. It wasn’t a surprise to anybody but Jonathan that she was into him. This was a cute idea and I think the story could have been more then what it was.
This book is absolutely amazing. I love Krista Lakes books, and this is no different. This is definitely a must read. Nora has loved Jonathan for as long as she can remember. She had moved away to the Caribbean and still had dreams of Jonathan. She moved back to New York, and started spending time with Jonathan’s workaholic brother Christopher. She than found herself falling for him. Is it possible to love two men? Who will she choose?? Read this book to find out.
Krista Lakes writes with a clear and passionate voice in her book, The Other Billionaire Brother. In her own words, it’s a book that is inspired by the movie Sabrina, but with the feel of her characters and storyline. Christopher and Jonathan Lewis were raised in an affluent life of opulence, needing for very little. They faced challenges, but they were always of their own making, based on their personalities. Nora has been raised as the precious daughter of the Lewis Family butler and can only stand back and admire the opulence around her. She hasn’t wanted for anything in her life but it pales in comparison to what she sees around her. Nora, Jonathan and Christopher have had a wonderful childhood together and nothing can change the facts that they are still friends. Nora has always had a crush on Jonathan, the cocky, sexy playboy, and she secretly hoped he would marry her one day. He is definitely the life of the party who loves them, and leaves them. Christopher is the more serious, single-minded hard core businessman who rarely smiles. Christopher runs the Lewis empire and Jonathan runs from women who want a relationship. Those days may be over when he meets Adeline, the daughter of the businessman who’s involved with the merger with the Lewis corporation. Her father has declared that if Jonathan and Adeline marry, it’s a done deal. Christopher makes the mistake of thinking that Jonathan is so interested in Nora that she is a threat to the success of the business merger. He schemes to keep the two apart, but he charms her right into loving him. He takes her to romantic places and they stay in elegant hotels, but is this still a scheme to keep her away from Jonathan? I couldn’t believe that Christopher could be so heartless as when he told Nora his reasons for doing what he had done. I didn’t think he was capable of being so cold and unfeeling. Thanks to Jonathan’s intervention, everything turns out the way it should. The ending is perfect and the epilogue is so sweetly hopeful! I still had a smile on my face after I turned the last page.
This is Sabrina.
I loved this story. It’s the first book I read by this author and it’s sweet and sexy with drama, some angst and all the feels. It also teaches you that you never know who your true love is and could have been right in front of you the whole time. That’s what happens to Nora. In the end, Jonathan got love but so did she and Christopher. I love how the characters were developed and we get invested in them. I will be reading more from this author now.
This is a well written, quick, fun read that takes the reader to a tropical locale and allows us to read about the kind of lavish lifestyle that most of us will never get to enjoy.
I really loved the characters.
A must read. Krista Lakes is a wonderful storyteller.
I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A Sabrina remake with some twists
Nora has loved Jonathan from above her garage apartment since forever. When she returns home from her Caribbean job, she is besides herself when Jonathan stops to pick her up at the bus stop. But upon their return to Jonathan’s home, Christopher breaks the spell between the two by saying Hi to Nora. Christopher will do whatever is necessary to keep Nora away from Jonathan and if that means managing Nora than so be it. But when Nora discovers it’s Christopher she loves, will Christopher return her feelings? You have to read to find out and won’t be disappointed.
What is a girl to do when the person you love is getting married to someone else? Nora has been in “love” with Jonathan Lewis for years. With her father the Lewis’ butler, Nora grew up around the Lewis family but always on the outside looking in. Nora decides to come home with the intention of getting Jonathan to notice and fall in love with her. Nora is surprised when Jonathan’s older brother, Christopher, recognizes her. Along with Jonathan’s pending marriage, there is a multi-billion dollar merger in the works. Christopher is tasked with managing Nora by any means necessary. What happens when Nora realizes what real love is? Can Christopher stop being a workaholic and learn to relax? What happens when Jonathan realizes who he loves and what he wants? Will Christopher admit his feelings to Nora or push her away? Can Nora forgive Christopher for hurting her? Which brother does Nora choose? I loved Krista Lakes and enjoyed The Other Billionaire Brother. I would recommend getting The Other Billionaire Brother. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
I loved this story. Nora has had a thing for Jonathan every since they were children but she was the butler’s daughter and off limits. When she comes home she runs into Jonathan who does not know who she is and offers her a ride home. When Christopher see the two of them together, he is concerned because of Jonathan’s engagement to another woman so he manages Nora until the merger goes through. What he didn’t expect was his feelings for Nora and how she effected him. Will his management of Nora lead to matters of the heart? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
3.5 Stars
If you’ve ever read and enjoyed a Krista Lakes book, you’ll definitely enjoy this one because it has all of the elements that make Ms. Lakes books so popular – a rich man sweeping a Cinderellaesque woman off of her feet, and details of experiences that only rich people could ever be able to afford. If you’ve ever seen the movie Sabrina, this book is obviously very closely patented after that in what I assume is an homage to the original story.
Although the story is a fun read, at the start of this book, Nora is a awkward mess to the point where I was incredibly uncomfortable at times reading the first quarter of the book. Her “crush” on Jonathan is at an unhealthy-to-the-point-of-being-stalker-creepy level from the very start and makes her seem more like a lovesick twelve year old than a grown woman (she is very aware of her issues but that doesn’t make it less awkward to read). I honestly wasn’t sure that I could wind up liking her, but she does get better and I found myself rooting for her and Christopher to get their act together and find their happily ever after.
While this wasn’t my favorite of Ms. Lakes’ books (I was never a fan of Sabrina, either) it was a quick and fun read that once again whisks the reader to a tropical locale and allows us to read about the kind of lavish lifestyle that most of us will never get to enjoy.
Sweet, sexy and steamy.
This book was a quick and easy read that had me hooked from page one.
The story did not go at all like I thought it would, but that was why I liked it so much.
Props to Krista Lakes for another awesome read!
4.5 perfect poolside read!!
This is the perfect summer read. This book is full of hope, love, secrets and pain. I was totally engulfed in this book!
First I want to say that I would willing take either of these brothers!! The Lewis brothers are where it is at!! Now I think Nora is quite naive and she did make me annoyed and angered at what little backbone she had but good thing for her the brothers do have big hearts.
The writing was perfect as always. That bungalow was just gorgeous. The author took us on vacation and it was beautiful. Great read.
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
This is a sweet, yet sexy story about our heroine, Nora, who has had a crush on Jonathan since she was a young girl. As the butler’s daughter, she had Cinderella dreams he might some day notice her as a love interest and sweep her into a HEA. Once she finds out he’s engaged, she quits her job in the Caribbean to return home to see if he might notice her. Unbeknownst to her, his “engagement” has business ties that can’t be meddled with, and to ensure she doesn’t distract him and his responsibilities, his CEO brother, and our Hero, Christopher, intervenes to keep her away. Instead of handing the “management of Nora” to another employee, Christopher takes on the job himself. Are his intentions truly all business, or does he have a personal stake in keeping Jonathan and Nora apart?
This was my first Krista Lakes’s book, and won’t be my last. This story has it all! It’s fun, sexy/flirty, romantic, and steamy. Christopher, Nora, and Jonathan are great characters. I love the Epilogue. Now, I’m looking forward for more books written by this author. I received a free review copy of this book at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.
Krista Lakes possesses a brilliant talent of instantly capturing a readers attention and I found myself, once again swept away with another fantastic romance story. This story took me on a emotional roller coaster ride with twists and turns I personally couldn’t anticipate. The emotional journey made me ponder the depth of the characters and how things come to be in life, because of age, circumstances, and emotions.
Get your Kleenex ready because this story had me experiencing all the feels. Sad tears, happy tears, giddiness and feelings of elation. This story was seductive, sweet and irresistible. I couldn’t put it down. It absolutely charmed me with a fantastic story of the ages. And the ending made my heart swoon! So what are you waiting for, get the book, you will be so glad you did.
I absolutely loved this book. It has that “heart warming, feel good” vibe to it that doesn’t let you put it down or drift from the storyline. Ms. Lakes gives us some strong characters who will have you on the verge of tears one minute, and melting the next. Lots of excitement and very well paced, you will not have time to be bored as you fall in love with Jonathan, Christopher and the woman caught in between, Nora, as they discover their own hearts, and who they truly love. Beautifully written, be prepared to be enthralled, cry a little, and laugh a little, but mostly, be prepared to feel.
I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion.
