I know, I know- it was released SO long ago now, but in my opinion- it’s a must read if you haven’t already. It’s twisted. It’s messed up. Tarryn writes female characters in such a way that you’re cringing sometimes while you’re reading about them. She knows exactly what she’s doing. And she loves it. You’ve got to read this one.
How cow! I loved, loved, loved this series!! So many twists! So sexy! A must read!!
WARNING: If you like a romance book with a happy ending and white picket fence, this is not that book.
This book left me with so many emotions. OMG! I don’t even know where to being, so let’s begin with the characters. 1) Olivia: was a very complicated and complex character. She was such a unique and original person that it threw me off guard …
I seriously love how @Tarryn Fisher writes her female characters. They are so strong, but still have a vulnerability about them. They are pretty but not beautiful, they are smart but still make mistakes. They are so real. So incredibly lifelike. The arc this story takes is pretty powerful, and that inner dialogue we all have within our own heads …
Page turner from start to finish. Refreshingly different from recent books I’ve read. Once I started I could not put it down.
Onto book #2…
This was recommended to me by a few people who love the angst… That’s like red rag to a bull for me so I grabbed a copy! Gah! I have never been so frustrated with a couple in a book like this for a really long time. This is a book where you want to get hold of both characters, give them a good hard shake and tell them to sort themselves out! …
I’m not sure how I feel. I liked the story and she sure did use her opportunities to her advance. She closed off to love and has put up a steel wall. Father issues. I can’t really explain her and Caleb relationship. Things do not end well. Fast forward she wants him back only problem is, he has lost his memory. Fresh slate and start again. …
I downloaded this book based on a thread mentioning great angsty reads and a great angsty read The Opportunist was. I couldn’t put it down.
I wanted Olivia and Caleb to get their second chance but as you read about their past and current you realize a wish is just a wish.
Olivia and Caleb are fire and gasoline. Add Leah to their mixture and you …
I finished The Opportunist at 2 a.m. with a twisted gut. The next morning, that feeling was still gnawing on me, and I had to message TF (whom I did not know) to find out when the series would be complete.
A series of self centered mistakes…….it’s what led Olivia to this place. The moment where the past and present collide. With a moment of indecision, Olivia is faced with a choice to accept where fate has led her, or come clean about the past. For most – its and easy choice, but that isn’t the case for Olivia. Self preservation has always …
The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher is a novel I both heard on Audible and read on Kindle. I find listening to a book difficult because if I become not particularly interested in the story, my mind wanders or I think I can multi-task and do something in another window. I cannot. I recently found an audiobook that keeps my interest, Bad Mommy by this …
This series is spectacular!
5 He taught me who I was Stars
Okay, this book has to be a sick joke, right? Like, what in the hell did I just read. I liked it. I hated it. I have no idea how I should feel. These two people are crazy. I can’t be the only one to see that. Actually, other than a select few, every single character seems to be crazy.
“I think that after the first …
