From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Laurelin Paige comes a new story in her Found Duet series… have passed. Kids have been born. We’re still in love as always, and the sex is still fantastic…
And yet, it’s also not. Like many who’ve been married for a while, I long for the high intensity of those days of the past.
I’ve heard rumors for years about the Open Door. An ultra-exclusive voyeur’s paradise. A place to participate in—or watch—any kind of display you can imagine.
My husband’s eyes would still be on me. And maybe other eyes too. If that’s what we want.
So when an invitation to come play arrives, how could we turn it down?
Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.

Hot, hot, hot! This is a novella about Gwen and JC after they’re married and have kids. If you want the full background of Gwen and JC, you’ll want to read Free Me and Find Me. However, I have not read them and still enjoyed Open Door so much! I was aware of this couple from the fixed trilogy, so their names were familiar to me.
Open Door was fun to read because Gwen and JC have three kiddos and are extremely busy. But who isn’t? It was refreshing to know that they could still spice up their relationship and remain a strong couple.
This book will definitely help spice up any relationship! I’m sure you’ll be squirming when ready this; I definitely was. Lol! It was sizzling with so much chemistry. Even though it isn’t necessary, I want to read Gwen and JC’s full story!
A must read!
Let me just start by saying how much I freaking love JC! Holy hell that man is hot! His adoration for Gwen is EVERYTHING! I was really excited when Laurelin said she was writing a novella for Gwen and JC. However, this wasn’t quite what I expected. Was it hot? That is a resounding yes! Were there things that happened that I didn’t care for? Another resounding yes, but who am I to judge what other people’s kinks are? Did that take away from the book? For me, no. I mean, I gave it 5-stars, so obviously I loved it!
The Open Door was such a fabulous read!
This story was a beautiful exhilarating exploration of a couples need to reconnect as lovers not just parents. Highly sensual, deliciously sexy, JC and Gwen captivate you!
Gwen and JC are happily married, busy raising their three little boys, full time jobs but they have little time together. When they received an invitation to The Open Door, an exclusive sex club, this was their opportunity to reconnect. Gwen likes to push her comfort zone, will she be able to go through it at the club. The Open Door is short and steamy, a very enjoyable story.

MY FAVORITE COUPLE IS BACK AND LET ME TELL YOU… IT GETS HOT! Laurelin Paige does it right! JC & Gwen bring the heat back to their marriage! Elizabeth @ Carolina Chic’s Read
What happens when JC & Gwen get the invitation to the rumored Open Door? Let’s just say that when a married couple who are deeply in love want to find some spice they do it right! I blushed the entire time.
JC & Gwen are found in the Find/Free Me Duet.
10 Stars Good!
Gwen is tired and overwhelmed with motherhood but wouldn’t change anything about her life. She is madly in love with her husband JC, has the job of her dreams and cherishes her best friend, Alayna. But she feels unsure of herself sexually, and when she received a mysterious email from JC, she was hurt that he would suggest a “sex club” as something their relationship would need. She had heard about The Open Door, but had never thought about what went on behind closed doors. Gwen wasn’t shy about trying new things, so maybe this is what she needed to make herself feel desirable to JC again like when they first met, before life got in the way. Even if it only gave them ideas and techniques they could use together at home, because what could it hurt to accept the provocative invitation, and open the door to pleasure?
