more
One of the major reads for anyone concerned about what we eat, and what the consequences are.
Makes you think.
Brings up many interesting points. However, also demonstrates what the author says about himself, he knows little about agriculture. A narrow view limited to the few farms he looked at, missing much relevant to the topic
I LOVE Michael Pollen !!!!!
Can’t help it, I’m a botanist –
And he’s hilarious — but SO right!
This book changed my view of food and my eating habits.
A must read book for anyone interested in food and eating (aka, everyone). Michael Pollen investigates what we eat, how we eat, and way to eat more consciously. Enjoy!
Well written but a bit contrived.
Every adult should read this book.
while ultimately interesting, it was tough to get through – writing was bland and ultimately the book, written better, could’ve been about half as long and still said everything it needed to.
Thought provoking. We need to question our consumption- this is an informative book with a practical investigative approach.
This book gave me a new perspective on food and our food sources.

Terrific, anything by Michael bound to be excellent
let people read it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Michael Pollan is an excellent writer and researcher. His book is filled with vital information for all of us. Anyone who cares about food, our health and the direction of manufactured foods needs to read this.
A wake up call for eating
Eye opening
I think everyone should read this book! It was an eye opener!
This is a manifesto to raise everyone’s awareness of what’s been done to U.S. food, and what that does to each of us. It should be required reading for everyone who shops the cheapest “food” they can get.
