This is one of my favorite books.
Will make you rethink about where your food comes from and how it is grown and hopefully change your food choices.
This was a great read. I’ll never look at beef, chicken or corn in the same way I once did. It’s scary but illuminating to discover exactly how these products are adulterated before ending up on our plates.
A great book. A top 10 nonfiction read. If you are interested in how nutrition relates to health and quality of life start here with one of the first to explore the topic in the popular press.
Checked out from library. I learned more about the U.S. food industry and its corporate history. It did not convince me to become a vegetarian but it made me more cynical about the American way of life. I would recommend this book.
“Omnivore’s Dilemma” is a fantastic look at where our food comes from, what the labels on your food packaging really mean, how it all came to pass, and why you should care. Highly recommended.
