Spirit and Stone. Song and Sky. Fate and Future all align.
On my seventeenth birthday, I finally heard Fate’s voice. He whispered to me again and again, insisting I find the Omen of Stones. Having never heard of such lore, I thought I could ignore his pleas. The Summer Solstice proved otherwise. Being surrounded by fellow witches worked my magic up into a powerful swell that crashed and churned … churned within me. As the energy crackled through my veins, I shunned my royal duties to follow the call of my heart.
Venturing beyond the safety of the Kingdom’s borders, I felt Fate nudging me toward a destiny I was eager to claim. Confidence in my craft blinded me from the ominous clouds of danger that roiled on the horizon.
Captured by purists dead-set on purging the Kingdom of magic and witches, my salvation came in the form of a mysterious girl who wielded stones like daggers. Something about her called to me, whispering we were stronger together, strong enough to stand against the dark forces threatening to crush my kingdom. Trusting Fate could jeopardize my heritage and my throne, but defying him could cost Omen’s life.
The Omen of Stones is the electrifying sequel to When Wishes Bleed and is perfect for fans of Shelby Mahurin, Mara Rutherford and Stephanie Garber.

Great read ! Pulled you right into the story, loved the characters and their growth throughout the book. Omen and River’s love story was a great addition to the story.
I absolutely loved When Wishes Bleed and when Casey announced that she was writing another book in the same world I was ecstatic! I love the world Casey has created not to mention the characters and the romance! I cannot wait to dive further into the book and this world!
The Omen Stone is shockingly spectacular. Stunning world building that continues in the same world as When Witches Bleed. Superb and sensational!!
.
If you love YA Fantasy this is the book for you. You can read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the first book in the series.
.
I am trying to formulate the words to describe this book without spoiling it but I can’t. Sigh. I shall try. River is the son of King Tauren and Queen Sable (<<---- Main Characters from When Witches Bleed) and he is a witch just like his mother. Omen is a witch who lives in the Wilds and like another book I love, Like calls to Like. Well they were born on the same night. Is it fate or is it an omen? . Read this fabulous fantasy today. It will not dissapoint you! 5 stars for you Casey Bond and a tip of my Nerd Girl hat!! . This book was done in conjunction with Nerd Girl Official book blog.
Great follow up to when wishes bleed. Do read wishes first. Strong characters carry through both books.
Great sequel to When Wishes Bleed. I really loved this continuation and fell in love with this story. You have to read this book if you haven’t already, the story is breathtaking and you never want it to end.
Casey L. Bond’s The Omen of Stones was simply magical!
Four lives . . . all kissed by and twined together by fate even though none know the others exist until they are seventeen. All must work together to save a kingdom from a sinister evil that none of them can fight alone. Triplets separated at birth and each more powerful than the next, and when together, their power is like nothing anyone has ever seen. Add in the fourth, born to the most powerful fate witch ever to have lived, and their combined magics are the only thing that may be able to save the kingdom of Nautilus from what is coming.
The Omen of Stones was a fabulous follow-up to When Wishes Bleed. While there are triplet sisters, the love story in this book focuses on Omen and River. True Soul Mates whose lives are entwined from birth even though they have never met before. I loved watching this young couple navigate their feelings as they also learned more about what fate had in store for them, knowing they were both willing to do anything to keep the other safe. Watching the sisters separated at birth meet and discover they were never meant to be alone was also beautifully written. While triplets, each is so very unique in both character and magic and I loved watching them all learn how to work together along with River as well. Fans of When Wishes Bleed will adore catching up with Tauren & Sable as well as Breccan, Mira and Aaron as well.
Honestly, The Omen of Stones was spellbinding. I was completely immersed and transported into a completely new and unique fairy tale. I loved these characters and their depth and motivations. How they card for each other and their commitments to give everything they had, including their lives, for those they love. Casey L. Bond is a superb storyteller. The Omen of Stones was a beautiful story and not to be missed. 5 stars!
I completely fell in love with The Omen of Stones. I really world and character building that Casey Bond put into this story, its so unique and different from anything Ive read. The creativity is mind blowing. I really didnt know what to expect from reading The Omen of Stones, especially since the main leads weren’t Sable and Tauren, I loved them so much that I was afraid to read this one but at the same time wanted to know what was to come. Casey Bond did not dissapoint, River and Omen are phenomenal and the journey they go on, and all the twists and turns within this story have you at the edge of your seat, wondering whats to come at the turn of each page. Its just feaking epic, and there is nothing like it. I absolutely have loved everything I have read from this author and can’t wait to see where her imagination takes us next.
