This book is in a series, you could read it alone but the amount of characters may be confusing if you had not read the other books first. My opinion, I loved this book. A realistic view of the life of a believer involved in full time ministry. A good fun and entertaining read.
Too much daily life. Too many characters. Story (if these was one… idk because I only got one third the way through) took way too long to get interesting.
I like all the Elmo Jenkins books.
This is a sweet book about the life of a young associate pastor at a large congregational church. It is silly at times and also touching, it certainly moves along as each chapter is a new little story in his life, but it all flows together. It is a good christian read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The humor woven throughout the plot is delightful! It’s a good, lighthearted read.
