Inspirational and humorous. Love the characters.
This is an easy read, with fun encounters and lessons learned by Elmo and the staff of First Church.
Another good book by this author. Entertaining story but with a deep message of faith.
Loved it.
I read this novella years ago and enjoyed the fierce battle between man and nature.
Didn’t like it. Stopped reading.
Great book. Great series. Very enjoyable, funny, inspirational and addictive.
Entertaining but sometimes reads as a compilation ofi “stories” rather than a novel with a central plot. I also thought that for a man who’s been to seminary, he appeared to be pretty ignorant of scripture.
Hmmm.. something missing here. It was a little slow moving, a little soft, characters somewhat fuzzy and under developed. I liked it enough to finish it, but I never really connected.
This series of books is excellent. This had to be one of my favorites.
Enjoyed every minute of reading it. Book left you with something to ponder.
Loved the interaction between the characters and a few inspiring words of wisdom.
It will keep you laughing from page one and there are sequels so u can keep on reading about Elmo Jenkins and the Hijinks he gets into.
Heartwarming quick read!
a funny book about an assistant pastor & the ins & outs of being so with a funny cast of church characters. Also a warm hearted church with problems like all churches. And how GOD works it all out.
Wonderful read! Surprise ending!!
Wonderful story! I love the fact that characters in Christian fiction are becoming more realistic. Excellent read!
I really enjoy the Elmo Jenkins books and this one was very good.
This is a fun book for family reading. We read a chapter out loud as a family each night before bed. We detracted one star due to one chapter of crude humor that was not a good fit with the rest of the book.
Fun read.
