I know this is a stand alone, but the characters are also in The Pact…Again I love a man with an accent Bram McGregor the older brother to Linden (who I love). He is an amazing leading man in this book. Nicola is a single mom of a 5 yr old girl. Bram is a knight in shining armor but Nicola is afraid to let anyone help her or let anyone in. Love her little girl she is adorable. Another Amazing read from Karina Halle, love all her work.

It was Bramtastic!! I really liked all the characters in this book. Also loved that the book was about a single mom (I just love reading books with kids in them). Ava was just the cutest little 5 year old, I love the song she made: Bram-a-lama-ding-dong!! That was epic!
Bram is just this confident manwhore, who has a dirty mind and just says what he wants. He is such a ladies man, I wouldn’t mind finding my own Bram. However there is depth to the guy, he isn’t just this rich guy who doesn’t care about anything. He has a goal in life that he hasn’t shared with anyone. HE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ASSHOLE! I really liked his personality.
I love that Nicola didn’t fall for Bram right away, there was attraction but hey who could blame her! I love the discussions between Nicola and Bram a lot. He is such a smooth talker. Eventually Nicola couldn’t resist any longer, which was to be expected. I also loved the interaction between Ava and Bram, it was super cute!
There was a little twist at the end, which I personally didn’t see coming. It gave some insight on Bram’s background.
I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed The Pact, also after reading the Epilogue I predict there will be another stand-alone book. Really looking forward to it! Also thanks to Karina Halle I will never be able to visit the IKEA without thinking about this book and what happened there!
4.5 Stars! Another fun and enjoyable book! I think I like Bram more than his brother Linden. Bram has come along way from his man whore-ish past, and boy what a past he had. I loved his big…ego. Some of the things that came out of his mouth was astounding. Like, you want to roll your eyes but it makes you laugh because of course he would say these things. I thought Nicola was great for him. Girl kept him and his big ego in check. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Side note: Love these covers!
4.75 Bramtastic stars.
I’m so glad I continued on with this series simply because of Bram McGregor. OMG I love this man. He was funny and had a mouth was beyond dirty. The great thing about this book is that you get to see a whole different side to Nicola and Bram then how they were in The Pact. I will honest and say I did not fancy Nicola very much in The Pact and Bram made a brief appearance and did not carry a good rep.
I really loved the writing in this book. I felt a connection to the characters, something that I did not get in The Pact. Although I love Bram way more than I did Nicola. This was a fun read and I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, serious, and romantic in all the unconventional ways. What I loved the most was seeing a new side to each character. Bram has shed his party boy/manwhore reputation and is getting serious with his life and Nicola gets knocked off her high pedestal when she enters motherhood. There was plenty to love about this book. It was just so great and I highly recommend this book.
The only problem I had with this book was that I would have liked to have seen more chapters from Bram’s POV.
Yes. Read this book.
