This is a four book series all in one book. All of the stories have a Christmas theme. Each story has loveable characters and a heartwarming storyline as the couple’s come together in Christmas town. The characters pull you in and make you want to be there with them. These are sweet and sexy stories and I would definitely recommend them.
Finding Love & Happiness
Each of the O’Conner children find lost loves or new loves in this box set. I loved each story, and their mom is a hoot. But the town stands behind them.
Jackson, Fallon, Maguire, and Nolan O’Connor’s stories are all standalone reads, and do connect as some of the siblings will appear in each other’s story. This collection makes it easy to have them all in one book. They are all fun, sweet, and sexy stories of each O’Connor finding a HEA, all in a place where you find Christmas year around, Holly, N.C. Heartwarming stories with a bit of angst and drama, this is a collection not to be missed. I would like to thank NetGalley and K.R. Press for gifting me the “O’Connor Family Series Collection for a fair and honest review. 5 Stars!
Katie Reus is a new author to me but since I love the Christmas Season this set was always going to be on my radar and I loved the O’Connor Family Series Collection books 1-4. I fell hook line and sinker for the O’Connor’s once I started reading there was no putting down until I had read the very last line. This Collection is full of characters you can’t help falling in love with they all have different strengths and weaknesses and Katie Reus has a way of drawing you in and making you feel part of the O’Connor clan it’s set in a small town called Holly where everyone knows everyone it’s just how I imagine what small town living in the USA is all about. This collection is beautifully written about a interesting family and I would recommend it to anyone who loves romance this collection will having you falling in love with the town of Holly and it’s inhabitants. Looking forward to reading more from this very talented author who is now must definitely on my radar.
The O’Connor Family Series was a first for me by Katie Reus, but will not be my last. Containing 4 novellas all of them cute and charming in their own manner. Ranging from sweet to steamy, and humorous to giving you all the feels, you will not be disappointed.
These are a re-read for me because I read all of them when they were published individually. I’m in love with this series. I adore over protective, possessive Alpha’s who are not jerks and this author never fails me. Each book in the series are on the shorter side, but I never feel like it’s not enough. Each book is set in the small town of Holly and since we see all the same characters, it’s like an ongoing story and yet you can easily read each book as a standalone.
Merry Christmas, Baby
There is some groveling by the Hero since he freaked out when he realized Nora was “it” for him and didn’t contact her for 3 weeks. I didn’t love that part but that’s where our story begins, with him pursuing her to get her back and boy does he make up for those 3 weeks!
Tease Me, Baby
There is just something about a man in uniform! Our couple is Brad, the sheriff of the town of Holly and Fallon O’Connor, little sister to Jackson from book 1. I really liked Fallon’s character but I’m all about my alphas. Brad was such a sweet combination of the all American, good guy and intense Alpha. I couldn’t have asked for a better Hero. The small town setting was comical along with the big brothers interference. Short, but hot and sweet read!
It’s Me Again, Baby
This one is a second chance romance. Not my favorite trope because I don’t like it when couples walk away from each other, but turns out the split for these two was a huge misunderstanding. The author doesn’t take long revealing said misunderstanding and has these two making up for lost time.
Mistletoe Me, Baby
I was a bit worried the author was changing things up with this book when I found out Nolan and Miranda are only friends at first. I never should have doubted, once Nolan found his opening to stake his claim, Miranda didn’t know what hit her. My favorite part of this book was when tragedy struck. We truly got to see how much he loved Miranda and how he took care of her even when she pushed him away. I fell pretty hard for Nolan.
Mistletoe Me, Baby
Nolan and Miranda are best friends so of course he would have her back when she needed it. Miranda’s sister makes Miranda guardian of her son, Miranda’s parents unexpectedly decide to visit for the holidays, and Miranda’s parents want to meet her fiance. Nolan does what best friends do and supports Miranda through it all, including becoming her fiance. Can he convince Miranda that they were meant to be more than friends and take their relationship to the next level?
It’s Me Again, Baby
Sometimes feelings change over time but not for Maguire and Sam. They met and had an instant connection and thought they it was the beginning of a great relationship. But due to a misunderstanding and lack of communication, things go bad. When they both move back to Holly, and end up working together, they also decide to give their relationship another try. However, it is not totally smooth sailing, but the suspense and obstacles bring them closer.
Tease Me, Baby
Brad and Fallon are fiercely attracted to each other. Fallon is hesitant to see where the attraction leads since she leaves for culinary school in two weeks. Can Brad convince her to give them a chance to see what develops? I love the chemistry, the characters, and Katie’s storytelling.
Merry Christmas, Baby
Nora and Jackson were friends and Jackson decided to move things forward but then got scared of his intense feelings and cut off communications with her. When he decides to try to make up for his mistake, Nora is not sure she wants to risk giving Jackson another chance. However, everyone else in town is convinced that they will become a couple. Will Jackson be able to convince Nora?
#1 Merry Christmas, Baby: I originally read this story as part of a box set and takes place in Holly NC where it’s forever Christmas. That was my favorite box set ever! This story is about Nora who owns Nora’s Books and Brew who’s raising her younger sister and gets a second chance with the town’s former Navy SEAL Jackson O’Connor. There is a surprising amount of suspense and mystery in this short story. Besides the fact I adore second chance stories and former Navy SEALs.
#2 Tease Me, Baby: The chemistry between this two crackles. Both Brad “the boy scout” Sheriff of Holly NC, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor, find the attraction is too much to run from. Fallon is leaving in 2 weeks for culinary school across the country and has been avoiding Brad since they shared a heated kiss at the Christmas party. Brad retired from the military a year ago and returned home becoming Sheriff. Fallon O’Connor is an “experience taught” pastry chef about to leave for culinary school across the country thinking she needs a degree to be on even footing with her successful brothers. It’s now Valentine’s Day and leaving in 2 weeks for school. Brad’s done waiting, he’s ready to settle down and knows Fallon is the one. This is a lovely story of stolen kisses, heated desire and finding you can’t run from the real thing.
#3 It’s Me Again, Baby: I adore second-chance stories. This is a good example. The chemistry between these two is HOT! They can’t keep their hands off each other…yum. I love these continuing stories about Holly North Carolina where it’s always Christmas. Maguire O’Connor and Sam, a home-town girl returning. Three years ago they shared a “insta-hot” love affair. No home and realizing their break up was over a lie a vindictive girl told Sam, all is forgiven because the chemistry is still there. They have both grown up, experienced life and it’s time to get real with their relationship. As Sam has a stalker who’s followed her home from Oregon, it’s a good thing Maguire is a former SEAL who can protect her and help the police catch him.
#4 Mistletoe Me, Baby: Nolan O’Connor is in love with his best friend Miranda Flores that we’ve met in earlier stories. Miranda is just 10 months new to Holly and loves it. She left Florida to distance her from her manipulative family who nit-picks everything. She’s found herself with the guardianship of her 10 year old nephew, Mateo, while her older sister, Gloria is in rehab. Hopefully it takes this time even though Miranda loves having Mateo. She told Nolan she wasn’t interested in relationships with getting Mateo and herself settled into Holly. Nolan has holding her in the best friend category gritting his teeth the whole time. Miranda’s parents decide to make an unexpected visit to Holly and now she’s got to ask Nolan to pretend to be her fiance while her parents are in town. He jumps at the chance! And so Miranda’s confusion and struggle begins when she finds he’s all in. Crisis hits and Nolan is there fore her. She finds love and a relationship are not really that hard to handle at all.
just perfect for a rainy afternoon
Did not care for this book, not my style.
This series has 4 different set of people with all the same sex scene like they were copied and pasted. It was not a good read with just sex and eat me type of writing. I was disappointed in the books.
Nice easy reads with happy endings.
Too many sex scenes and to little story.
Loved this book! Must read.
Engaging characters, good story lines and a lovely setting with enjoyable secondary characters. These were nice, relaxing reads.
Great fun and enjoyable read! Just story and HEA…
The series is well written many times the first book in a series is great but the rest put one to sleep, not so with the O’Connors. Each book was really enjoyable
3.5
5 Star review of O’Connor Family Series Collection (O’Connor Family #1-4) by Katie Reus
This was a new author to me and why that is so, I do not know. I absolutely adored the O’Connor Family Series Collection about the O’Connors of Holly, NC where Christmas is year round. The writing was strong in all four books and honestly, once I started I couldn’t put this book down. The characters and story lines were well developed and I fell for this family hard and fast. I enjoyed these books so much that I went and purchased the audible edition as well. One click now you won’t be disappointed.
Merry Christmas, Baby:
It’s my most favourite time of the year, add in romance and I am hooked to be sure. When friends’ become lovers it is sure to muddy the waters and that is what happens to Nora and Jackson. After an unforgettable night Nora is flying high, that is until Jackson ignores her for 3 weeks. Now he is back and wants to pick up where they left off but Nora is determined that this is not going to happen. She is hurt by the distance that Jackson created and it is up to him to do some serious apologising. It appears that everyone wants Nora and Jackson together and there were numerous occasions where I found myself laughing out loud. The chemistry between Nora and Jackson sizzles and I loved the banter as these two friends finally came together. I also loved the relationship that Nora has with her sister.
Tease Me, Baby:
The second book is all about Fallon O’Connor, a pastry chef and Brad Fulton, Holly’s town sheriff . This was a fun quick read. Although Fallon is leaving Holly for culinary school, Brad is bound and determined to have her. Again the chemistry between these two was electrifying and I found myself smiling throughout this story. Above all else Tease Me Baby, is about following your dreams and opening yourself up to love. Fallon is a strong and determined
It’s Me Again, Baby:
This is a second chance at love story about Maguire and Samantha. There was intrigue and suspense as it was a great read. Sam left Maguire with no explanation and after getting out of the service he returns home and buries himself in work. When he looks for a house, his mother sets him up with a realtor who turns out to be Sam. Maguire is reeling from the shock but is determined that face has given him a second chance and it is up to him to take it. But can Sam and Maguire move on from their past?
Mistletoe Me, Baby:
The final book and is Nolan and Miranda story who are best friends although Nolan has wanted more for quite a while. However she is guardian to her nephew and does not feel she has time for a relationship. Trying to keep her parents off her back she tells them she is engaged. Shocked to learn that her parents have decided to visit her for Christmas, she turns to Nolan to play the part of her fiance. Nolan leaps at the chance as he is sure that he can get her to give him a chance once she gets past her initial fears. When tragedy strikes, will this bring them together or tear them apart? I fell hard and fast for Nolan, he is an alpha and totally dreamy.
I have definitely fallen in love with the O’Connors after reading the 4 novella length stories included in this collection. Each one of these stories will warm your heart and make you swoon. Everyone should grab a copy of this collection and enjoy this incredible family and the wonderful little town of Holly, NC.
Merry Christmas, Baby – A wonderful friends to lovers story. After Jackson disappears on her, Nora knows she should have stuck to her no romance rule with him. Now Jackson’s back trying to explain but Nora’s having none of it.
Tease Me, Baby – Fallon has been crushing on the town sheriff forever but it takes the news that she’s leaving town for him to finally make his move. Has Brad waited too long or can he convince her to stay?
It’s Me Again, Baby – In this story Maguire and Samantha find a second chance at love after they finally deal with the past and learn that the thing that broke them apart was a lie.
Mistletoe Me, Baby – This is another friends to lovers story – sorta. Nolan has loved Miranda for a long time but she’s always kept him in the friend zone. Now she asks him to pose as her fake fiance. He agrees and comes up with a plan to show her how things could be if she’d just give them a chance.
