Like all her books, original, superbly written and conceived–only flaw in Gone Girl was a rushed ending.
Wonderful book. Hope she will write a new one soon.
Great premise, execution excellent!
The main character is evil personified.
I couldn’t put this book down. Keep me guessing
movie was better
This was SO full of plot twists. The wife was unbelievably clever and manipulative; the husband was equally gullible. It was a great book for plot and twists, but don’t expect to like the characters; I hated them both.
Very good. Fast paced.
I love how this writer keeps you guessing
It took almost half the book to get into the story, as it was pretty boring. Once you hit the middle of the book, it got interesting. However, at that point, I had already figured out the ending.
Good story, that carries you along.
Liked it except the ending. Too far fetched.
I’m an English teacher and I’ve heard peers say this is poorly written. I disagree. It’s extremely well-done for its genre. It’s very twisty and is one of the most frightening things I’ve ever read,
Good books. I recommend anything written by Gillian Flynn.
unexpected turns made it fun to read
Gold Standard plotting…. this one will be around for a long time.
Think I was on page 23(?) when I figured out what was going on. Really far-fetched, trite and annoying. Rather annoyed with myself, too, for finishing it. Obviously, the author saw the potential and thus the movie. I did give that a pass at least.
Exceelent
Exciting read
It was okay. Easy to pick up and put down.
