Includes 20 photos from the movie and a reading group guide. Every so often a love story so captures our hearts that it becomes more than a story-it becomes an experience to remember forever. The Notebook is such a book. It is a celebration of how passion can be ageless and timeless, a tale that moves us to laughter and tears and makes us believe in true love all over again… At thirty-one, Noah … thirty-one, Noah Calhoun, back in coastal North Carolina after World War II, is haunted by images of the girl he lost more than a decade earlier. At twenty-nine, socialite Allie Nelson is about to marry a wealthy lawyer, but she cannot stop thinking about the boy who long ago stole her heart. Thus begins the story of a love so enduring and deep it can turn tragedy into triumph, and may even have the power to create a miracle…

Nothing I’ve ever read made me cry like The Notebook did!
One of his best!
I loved this story. Sad ending but good story. I always find though that Nicholas Sparks’ books have less than happy endings.
It was very romantic
Just a lovely read a reminder of what marriage and true love is all about
I am NEVER disappointed in a Nicholas Sparks book … this one is awesome.
This is a book for anyone who likes romance books. It is the ultimate. See the movie too!
Great read!
I liked this book very much. It is much better than the movie
I loved this book. It made me happy. It’s old now and probably wouldn’t hold up to my 2019 standards but my memory of it is great.
Good read
I loved it!
Great book.
Excellent. Constantly pulled at the reader’s heartstrings. My mom has Alzheimer’s and this book showed that Sparks did his research about a dreaded disease…while also writing an incredible love story.
What did I love about this book? Everything.
one of my favorites!!
the best love story!
So romantic!!!!!!
Loved every moment
The most romantic love story ever written! A love story that defies class difference, family objections, time, disease, the ravages of the mind, and institutional rules. It is a must-read for every married or single person over the age of 14. It is a story of devotion we should all aspire to!
