In 1562, Michel de Nostradamus led a small party on an expedition deep into the hostile Desert of Barbary, now known as the Sahara. Without any knowledge of what they might find, the small party had entered the vast desert in search of a miracle. In the present day, Dr. Zara Delacroix enlists the help of Sam Reilly to hunt for answers about a book she believes was buried in the Sahara centuries … centuries earlier to protect humanity from some great catastrophe.
This ancient manuscript was named The Book of Nostradamus. . .

I loved the characters and the story.
As part of a series. Unfortunately the author “fell into the trap” of leaving cliff hangers” (I hate cliff hangers in books). Fairly well written summer read.
I found it a very interesting take on Nostradamus. I liked that
I really enjoyed the journey taken thru the dessert with enjoyable characters.
Very good page turner
Great read. Plot line well thought out.
The ending is totally unpredictable. You will not be able to put down this book!
Very informative, interesting and a good old fashion fun read.
Reading now and am very entertained
I liked this book’s plot. However two times in the book the author uses the exact same dialogue. It DID make me want to research Nostradamus more!!
boring
Too unbelievable.
Too implausible!
Original
Great book. Seemed to repeat details at times but a very good story. I enjoyed the character building and the general flow of the story.
A slow start but great finish
Interesting!
The author took a historical setting and brought it to life for those of us who aren’t all that interested in ancient times. Whether intensely researched or brilliantly creative the story unfolds and keeps the reader guessing as to what will happen next. Liked it enough that I checked out the history of the Garamantian tunnels to learn they were real.
This book is a quick adventure. It gives another dimension to Nostradamus. Although a bit unbelievable; an interesting read.
Christopher Cartwright has hit another home run with this book. Hard to put down – fascinating PLOT and CHARACTERS. Very descriptive!!! Can’t wait for the next one!
