In 1562, Michel de Nostradamus led a small party on an expedition deep into the hostile Desert of Barbary, now known as the Sahara. Without any knowledge of what they might find, the small party had entered the vast desert in search of a miracle. In the present day, Dr. Zara Delacroix enlists the help of Sam Reilly to hunt for answers about a book she believes was buried in the Sahara centuries … centuries earlier to protect humanity from some great catastrophe.
This ancient manuscript was named The Book of Nostradamus. . .

It made you stop and think “was it possible?”
Read this book and was hooked. Have now read first book in series and started second one. Plan to read entire series. What I have read so far are very good.
interesting. I would read more books with these characters
Characters unique, and carried that originality through the book. At the very end, it almost got to be cliché with the last, but saved it. An incredible twist on the Nostradamus prophecies… So much I almost believed it was true!
I have already gone to the next in series….hooked again!
Disappointed that the author thought it was needed to use the F word.
I loved every minute and wish it were about a thousand pages, such was the degree to which it absorbed and entertained me. I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down!
Didn’t finish it.
Not quite Clive Cussler, but close.
The plot was very good. However, the writing was often redundant and sometimes seems contradictory to previous statements. Overall, I enjoyed reading it…most of the time.
Another great read about Sam Reilly adventures
Great book, unusual plot, but could be plausable. many twists and turns.
great reading
This is a “strictly for entertainment” book, no big ideas, but a fun read if you aren’t looking for anything serious; sometimes you need that. The story line is clever and you want to see where it goes, but be prepared for a lot “you’ve got to be kidding me” experiences. But it was fun.
Puts a different light on Nostradamus and his predictions, providing a sense of possibility in a world with jaded views of his prognostications.
Meh
Jumping from one riveting adventure to another, water and deserts clashing in one intriguing romp. Archeology, undersea excitement and political unrest, I found it fun, and you?
Dan Brown at his best.
Another good read in the Sam Reilly series!!
Good read. Keeps you guessing.
