In 1562, Michel de Nostradamus led a small party on an expedition deep into the hostile Desert of Barbary, now known as the Sahara. Without any knowledge of what they might find, the small party had entered the vast desert in search of a miracle. In the present day, Dr. Zara Delacroix enlists the help of Sam Reilly to hunt for answers about a book she believes was buried in the Sahara centuries … centuries earlier to protect humanity from some great catastrophe.
This ancient manuscript was named The Book of Nostradamus. . .

Great characters and original plot
A real page turner and full of action. Unreal situations, but made for an entertaining read.
this was a spectacular read! I enjoyed it from start to finish!
This book was well written in a mix of myth and true fantasy with a few historical facts mixed in for good measure. It was steady action without a lull.
I learned of Nostradamus at an early age and remember doing an elementary school project on his life. This book takes a creative look at his books of prophecies, theorizing that he hid a portion that would make the rest more clear. I like how the author juxtaposes freewill and predestination and forces the reader to think deeply about coincidence.
Wish it didn’t end Hope there is a follow up
I knew nothing about Nostadamus so I learned a lot. Don’t know how much of this true or if it is mostly fiction but it was very interesting.
Unless you are afraid of the dark or fear being submerged in the depths, this is an exciting romp.
Did not make sense. Premise was interesting but actions of characters wasn’t believable. How gullible can supposedly intelligent people be? The worst part of the plot was when “secret” messages kept popping up as the book went on. First a character was the key to the end of mankind and then a message says the key is someone else, etc
The book dragged on and on, and seemed to end abruptly. It boarded upon fantasy, but I enjoyed it. Through most of it, I could not put it down.
Sort of like Clive custler in spots. However it was pretty drawn out at the end. I found myself skipping parts at end.
Good book.
Hard to put down. Kept you captivated.
To technical for my taste. Good characters good story.
Interesting, with many twists and turns.
Reminded me of Clive Cussler or James Rollins books. When I was reading chapter 66 I thought I had read it before and found that a few pages were the same word for word as chapter 40.
Slow start, great pick up and finish
This book was very entertaining and held your interest. Did not want to put it down.
I like the pace of this book and the background information. i felt like I was learning the whole time I was reading and really getting to know the characters. The twists and turns were sometimes easy to figure out and sometimes a complete surprise.
It is just a good story but true fiction
