In 1562, Michel de Nostradamus led a small party on an expedition deep into the hostile Desert of Barbary, now known as the Sahara. Without any knowledge of what they might find, the small party had entered the vast desert in search of a miracle. In the present day, Dr. Zara Delacroix enlists the help of Sam Reilly to hunt for answers about a book she believes was buried in the Sahara centuries … centuries earlier to protect humanity from some great catastrophe.
This ancient manuscript was named The Book of Nostradamus. . .

Unique twist on the theory of destiny! Can it be altered or will it change according to the will?
Not a bad story but a lot of it takes place in the Sahara desert, I never thought the story would leave the desert. I was so thirsty after reading!
Fun book to read. Hard to put down.
I enjoyed this book so much I recommended to my mother who also downloaded and is reading it.
Very entertaining look at Nostradamus. I enjoyed this one thoroughly.
Super fun!!
Couldn’t get past the comically extreme physical descriptions in lieu of characterization in chapter 2.
It was a bit unbelievable but a fun read.
I thought it was a very good book. It made me wonder about Nostradamus’ predictions
I enjoyed the book very much.it was a page turner Kept my interest throughout. I liked the characters, well rounded. I’ve always loved Indiana Jones & this story reminded of those adventures.
It’s been a while since I’ve read this book but I remember the great characters and a wonderful tie in to a unappreciated historical character. A compelling story all around, I recomend.
Cartwright’s lead Sam Reilly is an inspiring main character who surrounds himself with the right people. Great read from the first to the last page!
A most enjoyable plot supported by great characterization and exotic locations. Short chapters make for easy breaks and the ends had teasers that make it a page-turner as well. It’s even more enticing with a fantasy subterranean civilization and other imaginary dynamic locations further spicing the story up.
My only drawback was that in many locations, the details got bogged down and slowed the adventure aspect.
I do recommend it as a fun read.
This book is similar to a Dirk Pitt novel by Clive Cussler. Entertaining with lots of action. I found this book hard to put down.
It is an entertaining light read. It has too many twists that just occur by coincidence to save the day, or introduce a new threat. If one likes diving, one may like all the details about how to dive in the Sahara Desert and elsewhere. There were many references to pass exploits that were probably in an earlier book. It did leave an ending that persuaded me to buy and read the next book in the series. Afterwards I saw a multi-book package that would would probably made things come together better. I was tempted to get it, but did not feel like enduring more jargon filled episodes.
The Nostradamus Equation
Sam Reilly, Book 6
By: Christopher Cartwright
Narrated by: David Gilmore
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
I love books looking for artifacts but this one is about Nostradamus, prophecy, and of course the usual action, adventure, suspense, and near death multiple times. Never dull in Sam Reilly’s life! These books are like chips, you really can’t read just one! They are addictive! I am hooked.
The narrator is awesome at keeping the emotions running fast and hard. That is how the book runs. He also is great at all the voices that is like family to me now. Great job!
Quick turns and twist kept me reading. I was impressed with how much research it appears the author did to keep facts where he could realistic.
This book had a promising concept and beginning, but soon deteriorated into a series of jumpy, unrealistic plot twists, giving the feeling that the author was winging the plot as he wrote. When i finished the book I was very dissappointed with the book and felt it only deserved a 1 star rating, but because the author was able to develop just enough intrigue to keep me reading to the end, I’m giving it a 2 star rating.
I loved the time warping in this book.
Great Story hard to put down.
