A spectacular well written rockstar romance. This passionate and emotional read is enjoyable with some twists captivating me from start to finish. The characters are interesting and have steamy hot chemistry being told from dua POV. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
The story caught my attention with the drama in the first couple of chapters. Interesting twist and turns. Kingston is a bad boy rock star with major issues that are complicated with his relationship with his counselor. When he meets Cam it’s probably of the best time but he is totally smitten. Cam is still reeling from her divorce from her high school sweetheart. Sweet moments and sexy times along with a scorned ex make for an entertaining read.

A really good gripping romance that is exciting and sweet and will leave you wanting more. It moves at a brisk pace, is emotionally deep, beautiful, sexy, and heartfelt. This story will invoke a number of feelings such as anger for the manipulation and abuse received from someone in a position of authority; and joy that the characters were able to find and help each other heal and find their HEA. It is well-written and the characters are well developed. Great love story and very enjoyable! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Meet Kingston, a woman’s dream as he is currently a rock star. He is super hot and sexy, got an amazing voice and of course comes with the baggage and reputation of being famous. He is looking for something different. The rock star lifestyle is losing parts of its luster. Until he meets Cam (Camilla). Camilla is a nurse, she has the kind, loving heart and personality that goes along with being a caregiver type person. She avoids bad boys like the plague. She has been there, got the tshirt and the broke heart to provide it. Why is it that the girl that is trying to be good and wants a good guy, is heavily attracted to the damn bad boy? When Kingston and Cam finally give in and give a relationship a try, the past comes creeping back in. Can the past destroy the present and possibly the future for these two? A shorter read in length but still a well written, well rounded story with great characters. Enjoy!

Kingston’s a rock star. He’s just coming out of a toxic relationship with his therapist when he meets Cam. Cam’s a nurse, a normal woman who’s divorced from her cheating ex-husband, and not at all star struck about who Kingston is. They have immediate chemistry, and he’s totally smitten with her, so they decide to try to have some semblance of a normal relationship. She’s so approachable, making immediate friends out his his bandmate’s wife Syd, and his sister Dee. His ex-girlfriend/therapist shows up when he’s on tour, intent on winning him back, causing whatever drama required to get her way.
I’ve only ever read hockey romances from this author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. I gotta say that she did a spectacular job with this story. The characters seem to be complete opposites, but in fact, they’re after the same type of relationship; it just takes them a little while to get to their happy place.

This was a rock star/average person romance story. Kingston had a past littered with typical rock star behaviors – drinking, carousing, trouble with the law. Cam was a normal compassionate nurse who had trust issues due to a loser ex husband. They met when he was undergoing treatments to be a donor for his sister’s medical procedure. His ex tried to break them up, but they get their HEA in the end.

I typically love rock romance but this newest release just doesn’t do it for me. Don’t get me wrong it had some elements that I look forward to in an enjoyable rock star romance read, a hot rock star, an unexpected meeting with a not so typical girl, and the heat level with a sizzling attraction. However, it might be the pace of the character meeting, than falling (with other elements that I don’t want to get into just in case I spoil it for others) that I had a hard time connecting with or something else. This was my first read by the author and it was just a 3.5 stars, but I do like her writing style so I’ll see what else she has written.
I love second chance love story with two people who have never met, but have been burned previously. Both Camilla and Kingston have been hurt, but they don’t give up. They are strong and build a bond that is solid and filled with communication. That is until the past present it’s self in the present. Through some deep thinking on Cam’s part she able to fight for her man. In the end they were able to conquer their fears and baggages. Most of all I love how their friends can see the love they have for each other weather they are together or apart.

3 1/2*
Kingston’s manager threatens to drop the band unless he seeks help to put his life in order. Then he finds out his therapist Helena is married and used him. Things are hard for him, with his sister been ill and needing his bone marrow, he has a fear of needles. He meets Cam his nurse he can’t help been drawn to her caring nature, she’s been betrayed but Kingston seems so genuine.
The chemistry and pull shown between the couple is fierce.

Loved it!
I wish there were lyrics included for the song for Cam “about love and dreams coming true. And finding that special person and never letting go. About working hard to get it right and how he’s never going to stop fighting for me. How he’s drawn to dark, but I’m his light….”
