After weeks of nonstop work, all she wanted was to sleep in her own bed for a change.
Instead, she found herself trapped in paradise against her will, working a job without the security of her team there to back her up.
She was determined to resent every moment of it, but it wasn’t long before she realized Greece had something that she didn’t have back home.
A man like Christopher Adamos in her … Adamos in her bed.

This was one of my favorites of Jessica Gadziala’s books!! There’s just something about the captive falling for her captor that gets me every time! Miller is the Negotiator. And when Christopher needs her help he’s not above taking her. And of course Bellamy and Fenway are up to no good! I just absolutely loved this book! I love all the Fixer books but this one went a little deeper for me. Maybe because of Alexander, Christopher’s little brother or Cora, the mother figure but I could read this one over and over again!
This book was exactly what I needed and so much more.
At the beginning I couldn’t stop laughing at all the antics that Bellamy and Fenway were working on and they are hilarious individually. Both of them at the same time are just frightening . The way Miller describes these two extremely out-of-control rich clowns with their pranks is to cry-ridiculous-funny. I can’t wait for their books
Miller’s story or Negotiator’s, how she is called in her professional world, is unbelievable romantic and emotional.
She was always the one that didn’t understand the term love or romance. She was satisfied with her career and one night stands, wasn’t she? With a “little help” from Bellamy and Fenway, she discovers that that’s not all in life. Life could offer her so much more if she just opened a bit more. And she does. To someone that is a complete stranger, a criminal and still he understands and respects her more than anyone before.
Christopher is the head of a criminal organization.
He is The Godfather of Greece.
Whatever happens in his country has to be approved by him. So yeah, it’s not what Miller would have chosen as a man for life. But what are they saying about love? Love doesn’t discriminate
This is a beautiful, swoony and emotional love story with action, humor and life changing feelings. A journey into the past to start a future.
I’d like to tell you more about this book, but I can’t. I don’t want to spoil it for you.
I love this book and recommend it to everyone who loves emotional and action packed romances with a perfect HEA
5 Greek Goddess Stars
The Negotiator is the seventh book in Jessica Gadziala’s Professionals Series. I think this is probably one of my favourite series from Jessica.
Miller wakes up on a yacht in the clear blue water not having any memory of how she got there. She knows one thing it must have something to do with Bellamy. Not being the first time this has happened to her. But it turns out there is a good reason for it this time.
Christopher is a dark, handsome and brooding Greek God who has a job for her. He wants to pay her to negotiate in getting his little brother back.
“And in that mirror, I couldn’t help but see the two of us reflected. I also couldn’t help but notice that we made a pretty good picture. Him a bit more than me because, let’s face it, the man literally rolled out of bed and committed homicide while looking like a friggen Gucci model.”
This book was great, although it was a little slow at times it still had everything in it that marked all my boxes. It was great seeing Fenway and Bellamy again, I’m Looking forward to both of their stories!!
This was another excellent read and no matter the series, Jessica Gadziala never fails to wrap everything up in a perfect epilogue!
Here’s my quick Kindle Unlimited review. As the third book of this series I’ve read so far, I’ve got some catching up to do. You can bet your bottom dollar I do plan to read them all. As usual, this author keeps me fully engaged with her alpha possessive, jealous manly men and sassy leading ladies. Melody (aka Miller) was one cool character. I loved the unique concept of her job and the unusual way she was dragged into the hero’s Greek criminal lord’s underworld life. There was some surprisingly sweet, softness lurking behind her haunted past and tough as nails persona though In fact, she ultimately came across a lot more vulnerable than I expected.
As an avid mafia romance reader, Christopher clearly was right up my hero alley. Tall, dark, handsome, and a man with an important mission. This guy got a whole lot more than he bargained for when he arranged to hire Melody, whether she liked it or not.
Before finishing/posting this review, I did read the next book (The Client), because, well, I just couldn’t wait to get my Kindle loving hands on Fenway’s HEA, since he is mentioned here as an instigator of mayhem. Unfortunately, it was just a so-so read for me. IMHO, it lacked better intriguing writing in regards to the characters themselves and needed more of a kick to the run of the mill, predictable romantic plot presented.
Title: The Negotiator, Series: The Professionals (Book 7), Author: Jessica Gadziala, Pages: 233, stand-alone but part of a series, alpha Greek crime lord hero, negotiator for hire heroine, very graphic smex scenes, graphic flashback of previous attempted rape scene, no love triangle, no OW/OM drama, romance safe, some violence.
(I voluntarily read and reviewed a Kindle Unlimited version of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not given any payment or compensation for this review. There is no affiliation or relationship between this reviewer and the author, publisher, or PR firm.)
All Miller wanted was a break and to sleep in her own bed, unfortunately what she gets instead is cottonmouth and a splitting headache. Due to Bellamy and Fenway’s antics she is also kidnapped. The kidnapper is the Greek criminal kingpin, Christopher Adamos. As can be expected Miller is not a happy camper, but her negotiating skills are needed and Christopher demands the best and he’s willing to do anything to get it.
I absolutely loved Miller and Christopher’s story!! Despite the situation they are both in, their story had so much softness and sweetness to it. Don’t get me wrong they are both bada$$es in their own right but the chemistry was just so darn sweet and swoony!
Not only did I love the storyline, the secondary characters especially Cora and even the bratty Alexander, and of course we cannot forget Quinn and crew, they made this story so much more awesome! Another fantastic read and I cannot wait for the next in this series!!
Everytime I get a new book from Jessica it’s like I’ve been locked away and starved. Even though I should take my time and savor it, I devour it in hours.
The Negotiator finally gives us Miller’s story. And other than the very beginning with a hilarious set up with Finn and Bellamy, and the end with Quin and the team, Miller is on her own. Of course that doesnt mean its a bad thing. She is in Greece, against her will, to help its biggest crime lord to get his younger brother back from a drug lord.
One would think they would not get a sweet love story between a Negotiator that has dealt with the world’s deadliest people and a major player in the Greece organized crime world but that is what you get and it was so satisfying. Miller surprised me with her softer side to go along with the hard, edgier negotiator side we’ve really only known from the previous books.
