But life is complicated. Why is James’s wife never home? And then there’s Melinda’s past, which isn’t staying where she left it. Throw a toddler into the mix, and will anyone in the house get their HEA? And is it ever really possible to get a second chance and start again?
With a cute kid, two lovely souls, some steamy scenes and a HEA—you’ll love this hot short romance

Nanny on the run, house husband, beautiful little girl and checked out wife equals a whole lot of sizzle at home
The Nanny is the first book that I have read by Fen Wilde so I was not sure what to expect. But the book description looked interesting so I thought I would see if I liked her writing and story telling. I liked both of them a lot. The story is pretty tight and well thought out and the characters are pretty good. I thought there were a few places where the book would have benefited with more depth. Additionally the two main characters are quite good but the secondary characters were basically lacking and only mentioned by name basically, even though they both played a big part in the background of the story-line. But these couple things did not stop me from enjoying the book and finishing it with a smile on my face.
I also liked the reversal in ages, older woman / younger man, but the fact that he still stepped up to protect her when she really needed someone to do it.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Melanie and James. He’s a young stay at home dad while his wife Kelly roams the world seeking fame from being an internet sensation. She’s just been hired to be his daughter’s nanny. But there is a undeniable connection between them. She is keeping a secret about her past that blows up in their face . A HEA.

This could have been pretty good. Unfortunately, the man was married. While they were able to convince themselves it was okay for them to be together anyway, I am not convinced. Disgusting.

Melinda left a life behind that she tried to forget. James is a stay at home dad that is returning to the work field. These two have a complicated attraction to each other and they to fight it. When things go south, James steps up to be the white knight that she needs. To understand the situation you must read to see.

This is book two in the Love Rebooted series. I have not read book one but plan to go back. Meet James, he is a currently a stay at.home dad but wants to go back to work part time. In order to do that he needs a live in nanny for his eighteen month old daughter, Hayley. His wife, Kelly is busy travelling and being an internet success, she currently does not want to be a Mom. Belinda applies for the any position that she desperately needs. We don’t really know alot about why until the story starts to unfold and Melinda and James begin to grow closer. Melinda’s abusive ex, Michael is after her and lets her know he has found her by throwing a brick through James’s front window of his house. Melinda immediately leaves without alot of explanation. James knows she is in trouble and wants to help her but now he needs to find her. An interesting story on how this circle of people make things work and Melinda gets safely away from Michael. This particular issue is not completely resolved but we shall see what happens. Enjoy!

The foundation of this story is magnificent. I love the structure, it’s just how it was put together that I’m not a huge fan of. It felt like I was reading a reenactment. The characters are fantastic, I just wish the supporting characters had more depth.

She’s the catalyst.
Melinda is 37 and starting her new nanny gig with James, a younger married man and his 18 month old daughter. James is married to Kelly, but she’s an influencer and gone all the time, not ready to be a mother. But she is the primary breadwinner in the family.
Melinda tempts James, but has he cracks in his marriage were already there.
Nicely done. No cheating.

James and Melinda never expected that him hiring her as his daughter’s nanny would be just what sparks life back into them. As they get to know each other their feelings get involved. It lights a fire under James to deal with his marriage and Melinda has a hero in James when he helps with her ex.
Working through their feelings and obstacles only brings them closer in this fantastic romance.

James’ marriage is tense, mostly because his wife is not there physically or otherwise. He’s been a stay-at-home dad, but wants to go back to work part-time; hence the need for a nanny. Melinda applies for the nanny position, not what she wants to be doing at 37, but… It doesn’t pay a lot of money, but she’ll get lodging and food in exchange for an easy schedule. Someone throws a brick through the front window, and Melinda knows she has to leave – it’s not safe for anyone if she stays. Her abusive partner has found her… They’ve gotten under each others’ skin, and work together toward their happy ending. This was a good story – a bit dark at times – but a nice way to spend a couple of hours reading.

This was a super read I was a little worried going in because I am not a huge fan of cheating in a romance but I had nothing to worry about James is a great guy and does the right thing ending his loveless marriage before he acts on his feelings for Melinda this was a good quick read and I really enjoyed it.
An enjoyable sweet second chance romance. This is a book with a very grown up theme. It isn’t about a billionaire with a big corporation. This is about a marriage on the rocks, about loneliness, about a toddler without her mother’s love. This is James’ family. From the book title we can suspect that he hires a nanny to help him cope with his absent wife leaving him alone and tied to care for his baby alone. Enter Melinda, the nanny, who is a damsel in distress on the run from an abusive control freak of an ex-boyfriend. Melinda and James mutually need each other. The author presents a very well described plot, the characters are well developed and the reader can anticipate the growing attraction between Melinda and James. The book has some sizzling hot sexual scenes which are part of the story. Yet, the book isn’t about adultery, there is no sordidness. The adults solve their desperately challenging situation in a mutually beneficial manner which allows all of them to move forward. The book doesn’t pretend to kiss the family’s problems better, or alter their situation to make it more socially acceptable. It allows the characters to make the necessary adjustment to make the best of their possibilities for happiness. I will not give away the plot just mention that this novel is a sweet romance with a HEA and a big feel-good factor. I only wish that it was longer but credit to the author that she was able to convey her content so effectively in such a short novel.
