Vince was a mustanger with a solitary camp high in the Rusty Hills, where he worked his operation alone. He liked it that way. Then, on a trip back from selling some mustangs, he came across Julie, a saloon girl on the run from some pretty bad hombres. Before he knew it, her fight was his fight, and he was looking forward to a life with her. They just had to fight a small war first.
Loved this easy to read romance and some action.
A good western read.
Thought provoking take involving ethnic encounters. A surprise coming from a western.
Trying to be like 50 Shades of Grey. I didn’t bother to finish it.
Very easy read and enjoyable characters
Very entertaining, hard to put down after reading the first page. Sorry the book ended, wanted to keep reading.
This would make a great old-fashioned TV cowboy movie.
I enjoyed the theme of a positive future. Events continued to lead toward an interesting ending.
A fun read, like watching an old John Wayne western, with less Indian killings.
An unusual find. Easy reading, old time cowboy book. Really brought out the rustic, earthy nature of our evolving westerners. Wish there were more coming.
A good western book that is enjoyable to read.
wish it could of lasted longer
Good for a light read when you don’t want something deep or philosophical or your usual genre. The characters were believable. I think women would probably like it more than men.
Western, easy to read, entertaining, liked the story.
Good story, would like to read more like this one.
A simple melodrama similar to the old Bonanza or Gunsmoke television shows. The soiled dove, the brave cowboy, the helpful Native Americans, it all seems a little trite.
There is nothing truly offensive in this book except the typos. The description of the “cowboy” is “tall”. The description of the “lady ” is much more detailed. And, of course, he rescues her, multiple times.
Harmless, shallow romance. Not my genre. Won’t be reading more by this author.
This book was interesting, but not really as exciting as I expected it to be. Also, it needed editing for typos.
Good ol’ cowboys and indians
Couldn’t get into it.
Loved it.
