Agatha Christie’s genius for detective fiction is unparalleled. Her worldwide popularity is phenomenal, her characters engaging, her plots spellbinding. No one knows the human heart—or the dark passions that can stop it—better than Agatha Christie. She is truly the one and only Queen of Crime.
The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd
Village rumor hints that Mrs. Ferrars poisoned her husband, but no one is … husband, but no one is sure. Then there’s another victim in a chain of death. Unfortunately for the killer, master sleuth Hercule Poirot takes over the investigation.

Another one of Agatha Christie’s most famous stories. Not only because of the exceptional mystery and shocking plot twist, but also because it’s really well written.
Christie writes so smoothly here. What I find fascinating is how often she writes like her books are meant to be adapted into film. You can picture every single moment and scene in …
One of the best mysteries ever written. Totally unexpected!!!
The Queen of Crime will surely have you in this read!
Exciting reading. Clues challenge my memory. Appreciated the floorplan
My first Agatha Christie, my Father’s favorite. An ingenious plot and twist which I won’t reveal. Trust me, it’s an entertaining read, a stand-alone neither Miss Marple or Poirot, just a wonderful story.
An unpredictable and classic mystery from the queen of mystery herself. I was surprised to find I have never read this book, and as usual, Hercules Poirot came through! I won’t give away the ending, but I will say you will be questioning everything the entire story.
Loved the classic Agatha Christie
A slow starter, but great Agatha Christie nonetheless.
Always a good read.
Classic mystery. Well crafted and tightly written plot. Sweeps the reader along until the very end with a shocking surprise.
One of Christie’s best. Loved it.
utterly timeless writing
A good read and read again and again!
I had heard of the great Agatha Christie but had never read one of her books. That all changed when my school assigned this one for my summer reading assignment. I loved it. It’s thrilling and exciting and the ending had me shook. The characters take on lives of their own, and not a single detail is taken for granted.
The BEST MYSTERY EVER!
If you can pay attention to EVERY detail, you might have a hint at the ending, but I doubt it. If you are not looking for a detailed detail book, this is not for you. On the other hand, if you relish puzzles, read on. Agatha christie books seem to follow the same theme with only Hercule knowing the tenuous true outcome.
Love Agatha Christie!
THE MURDER OF ROGER ACKROYD
by Agatha Christie
I started to read this novel because I’d heard it was one of the most highly-regarded of Christie’s books. It’s been voted the best crime fiction novel EVER by the British Crime Writers’ Association. It doesn’t disappoint. I already knew ‘whodunnit’ before I opened the cover which enhanced the book …
A classic Agatha Christie.
Did not expect the ending, great cast of characters, I was left in shock, to say the least.
One of Christie’s best!
