Agatha Christie’s genius for detective fiction is unparalleled. Her worldwide popularity is phenomenal, her characters engaging, her plots spellbinding. No one knows the human heart—or the dark passions that can stop it—better than Agatha Christie. She is truly the one and only Queen of Crime.
The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd
Village rumor hints that Mrs. Ferrars poisoned her husband, but no one is … husband, but no one is sure. Then there’s another victim in a chain of death. Unfortunately for the killer, master sleuth Hercule Poirot takes over the investigation.

This Agatha Christie was an interesting, entertaining read, with a surprising ending.
Love the way the inspector fields his way through a mystery. It’s always a fun ride
Great twist; classic
always enjoy an Agatha Christie – she’s a classic
Best Hercule book ever
I loved this book.
Great book by the great same of mystery. I did not see the ending coming.
Well worth the time
Easy read
This may be my very favorite Agatha Christie, and I’ve read them all. I highly recommend it.
Classic Agatha — easy read — entertaining — good narrative presentation — all the plot twists of a gifted mystery noir writer, in its BEST sense. Great for a weekend leisure read on a rainy day with the cat curled up beside you, a pot of tea on a warming plate (you won’t want to take much time away from the plot) and your phone on mute.
Agatha Christie never fails and this is no exception.
It’s an awesome re-read!
One of Christie’s best in which she (famously) breaks one of the cardinal rules of mystery books.
A typical Agatha Christie cozy-mystery
Great characters, good story, surprising ending.
This classic Christie mystery is a brilliant study in both an utterly original story and the craft of writing. Only The Daughter of Time manages to cram more into such a limited number of words. A MUST read for any golden age mystery fan.
The silliest of Agatha’s novels. Not worth it. Go find another one.
Love anything by Christie.
Another masterpiece from the Queen of Mystery!!!
