I marked informative because it is a historical setting and that is interesting. Entertaining because it is an ok story but found it a little drug out.
It was somewhat entertaining, but I knew early into the novel who had done it and the twists and surprises were predictable. I decided to go ahead and finish it. The writing style was fine and initially caught my interest, but self-examinations abound and, since I’d already figured out the who and the why that was supposed to be such a mystery, …
fun mystery
cool
Hard to follow and boring.
The work is a smooth, not-at-all-stilted British mystery. I stuck with it, even though I knew the murderer before the body was found. (Seriously.) Still, it was a good read with rich, colorful characters. I have great patience with British mysteries and their frequently extraneous or wordy content. Interesting read with a final twist…
Quá hay siêu hay

I liked the detail. Clues sent me on a few tangents. Enjoyable read.

A page turner! Good character development, great plot!
Reminds me of Agatha Christie and I kinda of figured it out! Looking forward to the next one.
My first book by Clara , I am Always Leary when reading, a new author.
It was very good, I enjoyed it very much. I always like a little romance in my murder, mysteries. I like books that an old castle is involved. I know if you read this book, you will enjoy it.
This is a good English detective mystery. Original plot, well written.
A good suspense and enjoyable read.
Enjoyable though the characters weren’t overly compelling, but the feeling of being in a bygone era kept the story interesting. The mystery piece was well done.
One of a series of “cozy” mysteries set in England. A light but relatively entertaining series.
