I am just oozing with warm fuzzies! Whitney has developed a ‘slightly’ unusual family. I would never anticipated how this book would roll out. I read until I really fell asleep! Fun storylines that mostly, eventually come together at the end. Can’t wait for the next relative’s adventure. Great characters will keep you entertained from start to finish!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
Whitney never disappoints. The Move is a sweet sequel to The Event. I loved these characters and the quirky and very 3 dimensional family members. The romance is delightful! The issues, relevant! The plot, unique! The protagonists, intriguing! There was not a thing I didn’t love about this book.

What a hoot! Creek Water is a Missouri town like no other … and it draws the most intriguing but diverse characters, especially when NYC has been their epicenter of the universe. “The Move” by Whitney Deenan focuses on Emmie’s friend Lexi as she put her prophesy into action ~ just as it was all meant to be, unbeknownst to her, her parents, or Beau. Needless to say, ‘the family’ is certainly evolving organically as each member builds new relationships. I loved this book, I was either smiling or chuckling through each chapter; I truly wish I could stroll through the revitalized town as described by the author … I’d stay in the B&B for sure! No doubt, I’m really looking forward to the next book (“The Plan”) in this series.
This is the second book in The Creek Water series. This was such a fun and delightful story! The characters were relatable and easy to fall in love with. A really enjoyable and entertaining story that had me captivated till the very end. I really enjoyed the. Character of Lexie. So many things seemed to be going wrong for her from her job transfer to her crush being engaged. But things started to take a turn for the better when she goes on a visit to Creek Water. This book will pull you right in and keep you engaged and smiling all the way through. The author does a great job of bringing the story to life with great characters that are lovable and endearing. The storyline flowed smoothly and the plot twists kept me turning the pages anxious to see what would happen next. A fun addition to the series!

Cute story, fun read. Will consider reading future books in this series, as I enjoyed this one and the first story in the series as well. 🙂
I enjoyed reading this book and all the books in this series.
Cute, easy read. Plot needed more development.
What a fun, quirky rom com! I would love to see this made into a movie! I love Whitney Dineen’s books! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.

I can’t get enough of this author! During “The Event” I fell in love with the Frothingham’s and their town of Creek Water. In “The Move” I had the pleasure of meeting Lexi and her family, as well as returning to Creek Water. Ms. Dineen has created a truly wonderful assortment of unique characters that will surely keep you on your toes – and turning the pages. Get ready for another comedic, at times dramatic, time with the (mostly) loveable residents of Creek Water. You won’t be disappointed.
In this tale you’ll meet Alexis, Lexi, who on the surface is content in her New York City life. She lives in the typical shoebox size NYC apartment, enjoys her job at Silver Spoons, and big city life. Then, one afternoon in Central Park a dog leaps over her and suddenly her entire world is turned upside down. Exactly as was foretold when she was a child. Although Lexi doesn’t put much stock into that.
A series of unforeseen changes upends every aspect of her life. So, Lexi decides to use up her soon to expire vacation time to go visit her good friend Emmie in Missouri. Lexi has no idea just how completely that single decision will change her future as well as that of her entire family.
Some choices are ours to make while others are that of Fate. Sometimes there’s such a fine line between them the only thing that’s clear is that everyone ends up exactly where they’re meant to be. For some, that’s in Creek Water.
