Dear Reader,
Sullivan is the alpha you’ve been waiting for.
He’s strong, successful, and all kinds of sexy.
His bride may be looking up at the stars, but he prefers using his telescope.
It’s big. Huge, really.
Ans capable of making a woman see things in a whole new way.
The mountains are calling, and Sully is ready to show you something more magical than the North Star.

Dollars and Stars
3.5 stars – I like this book. It’s steamy, cute, and quirky. Sophie believes in signs and following the tarot cards. Those are things that couldn’t be further from Sullivan’s mind and his reasons for taking a bride aren’t completely altruistic. They make an odd couple but it works for them. There’s some danger thrown in just to spice things up. I read this as part of the Modem Mail-Order Bride collection.
Sully wants what his brother has, a loving wife and best friend. Sophie is is desperate straits and willingly becomes his mail-order bride. Will these two opposites be able to find their happily ever after?
Sully and Sophie enter into a mail order relationship for two different reasons. He only wants a woman in is bed but Sophie has other ideas and thinks there is more to just being in bed. Will they get on the same page or will Sophie follow her path and decide to move on to somewhere Else? This story will draw you in and have you cheering Sully and Sophie on to get a chance for a happily ever after. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
The Mountain Man’s North Star is book three in A Modern Mail Order Bride series by Frankie Love. This is Sullivan’s book, who is Harrison’s twin brother from the second book.
We met Sullivan (Sully) McClain in the second book. He’s a self made high powered business man, millionaire living in Juneau, Alaska. After the death of their beloved grandfather, Sully has inherited his home and land in the mountains. Sully needs some time away from his busy life in the city. So he’s taken some time off and is going to stay. The only thing he hadn’t counted on was being lonely. He has seen how happy his brother is with his new mail order wife. So Sully decides that he’ll do the same thing.
Sophie Sander lives in Los Angeles but isn’t doing well making ends meet. She’s in debt and can’t seem to find her way out. So her neighbor suggests becoming a mail order bride. It could be a new start for her. Sophie believes in signs. In following the stars. All the signs point to saying yes to Alaska and a new husband so she’s all in.
“Sophie, I know you’ve had a terrible past, but together maybe we can make a beautiful future.”
Sophie and Sullivan have that instant spark. It seems their matchmaker made a great match. But Sullivan wants honesty and Sophie is keeping one secret, one thing she’s just too embarrassed to admit.
This book might be the shortest of the three. But it was a fun way to spend a couple of hours. After the second book, I had to read Sullivan’s story. It was the perfect way to end the series. These two were sexy and sweet together. I enjoyed all three books in this series. I like reading these in between my longer books.
Following the signs
Sophie and Sully are swoony. An insta-love, steamy mail order bride story that leaves you with happiness in your heart.
Couldn’t put it down and just started second book in the set. Easy, great read.
