For three years I hid in the shadows watching her. Which is no easy task when I have to duck to get through doorways and Dwayne Johnson would need to bulk up to give me a run for my money. I’d could take on a tank and have it turning tail and calling for mama. Me, Miller ‘The Grip’ Graham, is terrified of one thing and her name is Katarina – my kitten – Harcourt. She’s my everything with … everything with sapphire eyes, slow voluptuous curves and a smile that would make the devil reform.
Trouble is, around her, I can’t seem to get a word out. But today is my day. I’ve just won the log toss at the local Lumberjack Jamboree and I’m riding high. I see her, my dick is hard and it’s go time.
The minute I gather my courage, stomp over to claim what is mine, she hands me something that nearly tears my world apart. I thought I was here to save her, turns out I’m the one that needs saving.
Author’s Note: This mountain man has met his match. When the object of his obsession hands him a tiny bundle of furry fury, he’s in way over his head. He needed her before, but who knew a tiny kitten could bring this hulk to his knees. She’s taming the tiny beast and melting the heart of another. A happily ever after from the top of the mountain—where they can both see forever.
I’m so excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with Jordan Marie, Mila Crawford, Aria Cole, Dani Wyatt, Frankie Love, Tory Baker, and L. Nicole to bring you THICKWOOD, CO.
In Thickwood the men work hard but love harder.
This series is all about possessive, alpha, and over-the-top mountain men who will stop at nothing to claim their women.

Katarina (Kat) and Miller is a business owner of a construction company and Kat father is too, they are enemies. Katarina and Miller have been three years attracted to one another, for 3 count them years. All the tense is really intense for them both. This is a fantastic book, you will every moment of this one. The seven book of Thickwood, CO.
Undying love
This is definitely a Dani Wyatt story – insta-love,over the top, super-hot, with a little more plot. Miller admittedly had stalker tendencies BUT his love and awkwardness made him do it. Thankfully Kat saw it for what it was and didn’t run away. These two are super steamy and a match made in heaven. HEA
Unapologetically Obsessive and Irrevocably Bewitching…
Holy mother of all things deliciously filthy, finally!!
After the disastrously disappointing sixth installment of the Thickwood, Colorado series, and the underwhelming few before that. I had almost lost complete hope that there would be a bright spot beyond Jordan Marie’s contribution. But then I read this one, and thank the smut book gods, because Dani Wyatt’s, “The Mountain Man’s Kitten”, is what I’d been hoping for all along!
Unapologetically obsessive and alpha filled. Wyatt’s contribution to the Thickwood universe is the darkly rich story of Miller and Katarina.
Katarina being a bubbly, twenty-something, fresh out of nursing school, working her dream job in the hospital nicu and volunteering at the local animal shelter in her spare time. A vivacious woman with a secret, a long hidden, burning desire for Miller, her father’s business arch nemesis. And the man himself, Miller. A construction company owner and rough around the edges strong man competitor, who, unbeknownst to Katarina, harbors a longstanding desire for her too, obsessively so.
What follows is a fast paced, blindingly hot tale of unrequited, stalker level love. It is a panty melting story full of quick witted, hysterically sassy and delectably raunchy dialog that will have you begging for a Miller all your own to hunt you down and throw you over his shoulder. The chemistry Wyatt’s creates between Kat and Miller almost sets the pages on fire. The raw need she displays in Miller, startling and irrevocably bewitching. The boundaries between them pushed almost to the point of being disturbing while remaining maddeningly passionate and addicting.
It is truly what a book in a series about mountain men should be!
Is the story perfect? No, no it isn’t as there are a few plot points that don’t quite match up and the back end of the story was rushed compared to the careful pacing of the first two thirds of the book. Additionally, there were a fair number of typos that slowed down my reading pace throughout which were frustrating and a further indication that this book was rushed to publication a bit too quickly.
However, out of ALL of the Thickwood, CO series books, this one, this one comes the closest to being the unruly, mountain man tale I was hoping for all along! The closest to being the raw, rough, vulgar, and sexually charged cave man alpha I envisioned upon hearing the series title.
I guess in the case of Thickwood, they really did leave the best for last!
