Meg Ashworth has always lived her life by the book, until she finally breaks away from her family’s strict rules to be a wedding designer at Married in Malibu. But she never expected that part of her job description would mean working day – and night – with one of the biggest rock stars on the planet.Lucas Crosby desperately needs Meg’s help to create a music video for his new single. She is so … She is so brilliant and beautiful that instead of hiring a model or actress to play the part of his true love in the video…he wants Meg! Another great Bella series.
As Meg, a designer for Married in Malibu, meets rock star Lucas, she agrees to work with him on his music video. Sparks fly as they begin to work together, and find a chemistry not to be denied. A sweet romance as they fall in love, it is a story for all ages. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone with connecting characters making appearances. I was gifted a copy of “The Moonlight Wedding” by the author. My opinion is my own. 4.5 Stars!
A young woman is ready to try her wings and needs to get out from under her overbearing mother. She takes a job across the country with the Married in Malibu to take on a paying gig, rather than continue to work for free for her family.
A handsome rock star needs a venue to stage a video for his newest song. He’s excited to get started because he knows this will be perfect!
The handsome rock star meets the young woman planning the ‘wedding’ and sparks fly! Will she be able to stand up to her family for want she wants? Will he be able to show her he is what she needs?
Another fabulous story by Lucy Kevin (AKA Bella Andre). A ‘sweet’ romance, and perfect for an afternoon reading session.
Sweetly emotional, action packed and engaging romance filled with drama, laughs, great friends and undeniable passion…. this adventure is packed with witty banter, interesting charters, beautiful location and engaging situations. All this makes for a great reading experience, can’t wait for the next couple to be Married in Malibu.
Meg is a society girl working as a wedding designer at Married in Malibu, and Lucas is a rock star from the wrong side of the tracks. Together they don’t make sense, but chemistry and love have different ideas. I enjoyed watching them fall in love while scouting locations and preparing to shoot a music video. It is a quick, sweet, and feel good read.
Perception is everything. Meg’s work at Married in Malibu is to design the perfect wedding, differently for each couple. As a member of high society she designed perfect fundraiser galas and dinner receptions for the charities her mother was a chairperson for. Her mother does not understand why she wants to work and is constantly trying to run her life. Meg lets it happen, because she really doesn’t have a reason to fight against it, until she has a reason to fight back. Lucas doesn’t like the direction his current music video is going. He turns to his friends, who happen to run Married in Malibu, and suggest Meg to translate her wedding design skills to a romantic music video. Romance and love are easily translated, and as it works out transferable. Meg & Lucas have a love at first sight moment that continues to grow during their music video planning and creating. I always enjoy the sweet romance in Lucy Kevin (aka Bella Andre) stories!
“The Moonlight Wedding” (Married in Malibu Book 4) by Lucy Kevin is a terrific read. I loved Lucas and Meg’s story. This is a wonderful addition to this series, packed with romance, entertaining characters, close friends, rock stars, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance and series.
Meg loves working at Married in Malibu, she is a far world away from being Margaret; the perfect, obedient daughter her mother loves to take advantage of. Meg finds so much happiness in taking care of everything any new bride needs from start to finish. When Married in Malibu gets the chance to be front and center in a new music video, Meg gets picked to run point on the production. She is filled with ideas to share, nothing can stop her when she is determined to succeed.
Lucas is excited to get started on his newest music video, no one has done a video using a wedding venue before. Working with the owners it sounds like they have the pulse on what he is looking for. The venue, off-site locations, schedule and personnel all look perfect, when he meets Meg, all the final pieces fall into place.
Meg and Lucas plot and plan for the video spending tons of time together scouting out locations for the shoot. Each moment spent together finds them falling fast for each other. Meg’s mother is not thrilled that her once doting daughter can’t even return her phone calls. During one of the final shoots for the video, the wedding ceremony, her mother decides to make her first and final visit to Married in Malibu.
Can Meg and Lucas rise above seemingly different lifestyles to develop their relationship? Will Meg’s mother finally see what makes her daughter happiest in life? You have to read The Moonlight Wedding to find out. A great 4 star read, sweet, romantic and happily ever after. I received an advance copy without expectation for review, any and all opinions expressed are my own.
A lovely story in the Married in Malibu series…. You will enjoy this story if you’ve read the previous books in the series or if this is the first one. It’s a sweet story of Meg and Lucas and they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Though they are basically polar opposites, their attraction and chemistry is instant and you want nothing for them to be happy. Meg’s mother will drive you crazy and you are patiently waiting for Meg to put her in her place.
It’s another fantastic book from Lucy Kevin and you will not be disappointed!! You fall in love with these characters, you will fall in love with their love and you will cheer at their happily ever after.
What a sweet story! Meg and Lucas were just perfect together. And the way her mom tried to be so overbearing was absolutely perfect for the kind of person Meg is. She’s been working on developing that back bone and now she’s being tested on if she’s going to show it! Very cute and short story.
Every time there is a new Bella Andre book coming out, my heart makes a little jump. Specially when I saw that a rockstar and an upper class girl were involved in The Moonlight Wedding.
All my expectations were true. It is a sweet story, with love buzzing in the air. The wedding venue is the most amazing place you can imagine. Even when this time they didn’t need to create a perfect wedding, but an romantic rock video.
Meg is an upper class girl, but she is so much more than that. It was great to get to know here a little bit better. Although the story was of course way too short.
I loved how Bella Andre created a story where a video is made, but at the same time a real romance begins. It wasn’t the video that took my attention, it was the chemistry between Lucas and Meg. The moment in the garden, I was there and most of all felt it, straight in my heart.
The Moonlight Wedding by Bella Andre is another hit of Married in Malibu. I can’t wait to read the next story, because I know for sure my heart will take another jump and will be filled with sweet love.
MOONLIGHT WEDDING by Lucy Kevin
…Married in Malibu book 4
Meg had never done a music video, sounded amazing especially with Lucas
Crosby. Can she transform a wedding venue into something that would be suitable. The song was going to be called Precious Moments. Finding that true love, and lasting forever, is what he wants to capture. He loves her ideas, now to find the perfect bride to play with him. There has to be a connection. Meg at first look thought he was spell binding, his sparkly blue eyes. I think she is half way in love with him already. What a dream filled story, I love it, it seemed
perfect for his video and love. Delightful story and series.
Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s a very sweet romance. Meg has been hired to do a video for super star Lucas. Loved their chemistry. Can he talk her into being an actress in the video? It’s also so much fun, plus what will her uptight Mom do if she found out about them? No worries, we get a very happy ever after. I highly recommend this book.
A truly sweet, clean romance. Lucas and Meg have an instant attraction. Their chemistry is obvious to everyone around them. This is not about instalust.
As Lucas and Meg spend more time working together, their chemistry intensifies, and their feelings grow stronger.
Meg’s mother was completely overbearing. One thing I liked is that through her relationships with both Lucas and her co-workers at Married in Malibu, Meg started to become a stronger more confident person. Lucas was sweet and supportive.
This was a quick, entertaining read with a sweet HEA. The Married in Malibu series is great choice of you are looking for a good romance minus the steamy scenes.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.
I found this story to be an absolutely amazing read.
Right from the start the plot had me with the way
this author writes you are draw into the pages like
you are watching and apart of the story.
Plot is great and there’s definitely chemistry between the characters
from the first time they met.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I received this ARC for an honest review. This story is about Meg and Lucas. Lucas is a rock star and Meg works as a designer at Married in Malibu. Lucas is friends with Jason, and Jason recommended Married in Malibu for his next video. Sparks fly when they meet. Meg has an over bearing mother who tries to have complete control. Meg is fighting for her independence while falling in love. I would give anymore away. You NEED this book. Even though it is part of a series, you can read it as a stand alone. I don’t recommend it because you will miss out of other good stories.
I adore the Married in Malibu series of books from Lucy Kevin. Each book comes out just when I’m ready for a sweet and emotional romance. The Moonlight Wedding was a wonderful addition to the series.
I love both Meg and Lucas so much and couldn’t see these two with anyone else but each other. Yes they are pretty much polar opposites, but there was a perfect connection from the moment they met for the first time and I fell in love with this couple from the beginning. The fact that Lucas and Meg’s vision of the music video meshed so easily showed me they were right for each other from the very beginning. I loved how Lucas seemed to understand Meg on a level no one else ever had before in her life. I also love that Meg became even stronger than she already was once Lucas showed up in her life.
Meg’s high society mother drove me absolutely bonkers with how high handed she was when it came to Meg. I have to say Meg put up with her mother’s demands and belittling for way too long in my opinion. Meg is such an amazing character and I love that thanks to Lucas’s love and support, she has no issues standing up for herself and Lucas when it was needed the most.
I know with each new installment of the Married in Malibu series I’m guaranteed a happily ever after and really fast and sweet read. Lucy Kevin is the perfect author for readers who love sweet, emotional, and fast-paced stories. The Moonlight Wedding is my new favorite in this series of stories.

Meg finally has the life she’s wanted. Instead of living with her overbearing mother & handling events for her for free, she’s living alone & designing fantastic weddings. When the chance of a lifetime drops musician Lucas into her life, the relationship becomes deeper & more meaningful than either expects. Can Meg continue to hold out against her mother? Can Lucas convince her of her own self-worth?
I really enjoyed watching Meg grow in confidence during this story. She really began to stand up for herself at work & finally with her mother. Lucas was perfect for her since he was able to pull her further out of her shell.
The Moonlight Wedding is a quick and enjoyable read. It’s as sweet as any Bella Andre (as Lucy Kevin) has ever written. Lucas and Meg’s fast fall into love is believable in the hands of Bella. I especially loved Lucas’s decisiveness and the growth of Meg’s character. Gobbled this up in one sitting.
