New York reporter Paige MacKenzie has a hidden motive when she heads to the small town of Timberton, Montana. Assigned to research the area’s unique Yogo sapphires for the Manhattan Post, she hopes to reconnect romantically with handsome cowboy Jake Norris. The local gem gallery offers the material needed for the article, but the discovery of an old diary, hidden inside the wall of a historic … hotel, soon sends her on a detour into the underworld of art and deception.
Each of the town’s residents holds a key to untangling more than one long-buried secret, from the hippie chick owner of a new age café to the mute homeless man in the town park. As the worlds of western art and sapphire mining collide, Paige finds herself juggling research, romance and danger. With stolen sapphires and shady characters thrown into the mix, will Paige escape the consequences of her own curiosity?

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Not the same old run of the mill who done it. Very entertaining and the characters were very likable.
A light escapist mystery. Fun to relax from the intense and fraught world we live in.
I thoroughly enjoyed Moonglow Cafe. I am a Montana native and have sifted for sapphires. The descriptions of Montana make this a fun read. I have also spent a lot of time in Jackson Hole, WY where Jake is from. So I couldn’t wait to pick up the next novel Crazy Fox Ranch which takes place there. Both are delightful reads.
Was an enjoyable rainy day read! One of those books you hate to see end.
A terrific read… excellent characters and an even better well told story
This was an easy fast read. It was a simple story concerning art and jewels that were stolen years ago and now found in a very remote, small town.
Moon glow Cafe is an entertaining book filled with quirky characters in a small western town in Montana. When a New York writer comes to write a story about sapphire mining, she gets more than she bargained for. She makes new friends, solves more than one mystery, and reunites with an old flame.
Owning a yogi sapphire myself made it more interesting to me. Loved the characters and didn’t figure everything out Like I usually do.
It was a book I really enjoyed!!!!
This was a very good story line. It was set in a small town like I always thought an old western town would be like.i am looking foreword to the next book in the series.
Very Enjoyable Read!
True chick lit – the Montana setting and it’s history of sapphire mining made it more interesting than the usual light read.
Entertaining cozy mystery set in Montana. Interesting characters.
Good plot slite mistery
I felt like I live there and I wanted to eat at the Moonlight Café
Very entertaining, the plot twists kept me interested
Still reading it and enjoying it.
Very easy read. The characters are easy to like. Much of the “action” takes place at the end of the book.
Second in series, but I did not read the first. Can be read as a stand alone unless you want to know how characters met.
Loved it
I loved this easy read book
