This whole book is full of awesome stories, some hint at continuations, some have their own HEA. Most of these stories read way more than novellas, too. This was another year of fantastically crazy monsters at The Monster Ball. The proprietor definitely doesn’t disappoint at her shindigs! So, my understanding is The Monster Ball is like Vegas, what happens there, stays there- unless it involves love & that will continue after the ball with the monsters that were lucky enough to find love! Buyers are definitely getting their money’s worth out of this book, I highly recommend it! The coordinator of this book (Bam/Amber) did another spectacular job with the cohesive setting for these stories to revolve around & wrangling all these authors in TMB2.
Eternal Magic -Interesting story, pulled me right in, and really had me on the edge of my seat. I’d like to see more from this powerful couple, Katya & Dragneel. This didn’t really have a defined ending though it’s suggested.
As You Wish -I enjoyed this Genie & Siren pairing, looking forward to a continuation for Ryan & Alayna! I really liked them, but was sad that they didn’t get an HEA at the end of the Ball!
Twisted Tides -Yay -Mer-people! Loved it. They’re fish out of water -at the Ball! Aqua & Breck, are very likable, & I loved their second chance!
Shade of Danger -What an intriguing story. Lina & Nord are very likable, and the mystery in this story would have worked great in a series.
The Banshee’s Song -Interesting story, not what I had anticipated for a Banshee story. I liked Aoibheall & Gwyn ap Nudd, they were great main characters. (all the odd names made this really hard to read though). I felt the time at the ball was too short, I really wanted more at the ball!
The Black Rose -An interesting story, told in a unique way. Sabine & Devin are very interesting characters, actually quite likable in the end. Trust me, you need to give this several pages to get into the story & get past the unique way it’s presented, and then it can be appreciated.
Lost Imprint -This was a cute little story. Raine & Brandon -were-panther “imprints” who find each other at the ball in spite of the odds against it. They have an HEA that happens after the ball. I hated that there wasn’t much time together at the ball for this story though.
Agents of Night -Whoa, was not expecting something this totally unique. I really got into this & want more of Sabine & Blaze though they have an implied HEA at the end of the story, I’m hoping it will be a series.
Royal Blood -This was a nice story, Sarah & Tad had a special moment, & I would have liked a continuation series from this.
Turning the Tide -What a great story, had me reading non-stop to find out what happens next. Ada- the Selkie, & Henrique -the Necromancer, are definitely not a pairing I would have imagined together, but it worked out for them in the end!
From the Shadows -Cute story, with some mystery behind Gabriella & Rexton. Not sure- the ending is sort of a soft HEA.
Spies Like Us -This was an enjoyable quick story. Tiegen & Sebastian seem like the perfect
match.
Assassin’s Match -Holy mackerel, for a novella, this really packs a punch! Lots of action, emotion and excitement! Loved this story, with somewhat of a HEA for the couple! One of my favorites from the whole book!
Let me start off by saying I’m not normally an anthology type of reader, however, this anthology is a whole different kind of breed! I can’t get enough of these interconnected stories! The way the authors bring all of the different stories together yet still make them their own and keep them original is mind blowing. I thoroughly enjoyed each book in this anthology and absolutely cannot wait for year three!!
When you’re in the mood for frivolity and daring adventures, it’s time to go to the ball! Snatch your invatation from the moonbeam and prepare your attire! This year’s edition is going to thrill you!
Eternal Magic
What a story! Darkness and light mix together and create something magical! You can’t help but to be drawn into the lush surroundings and mystical happenings! I adore magic wielders and this author did a superb job with these characters! The fireworks bring out the ending that you need to read!
As You Wish
What is the life of a genie really like? It’s a lonely and depressing life. We meet Ryan who wasn’t always a nice guy. At the ball he meets a lady and by the end of his tale, he makes a promise to himself.
Twisted Tides
I loved this story!! With the elements of will true love save the day, magical abilities and a hint of betrayal, this is one tale that you’ll be eagerly reading! With the entertaining antics of other supes and the daring and dangerous atmosphere perfectly detailed here you’ll see the stories merge here and there and it’s just utterly brilliant!
Shade of Danger
Nord and Lina were ah-mazing characters!! I loved them and how beautiful they were together! There is nothing more alluring than the perfect protector and Guardian! Lina was most definitely a character that I cheered for! I so wanted her to have all the things and all the experiences! Nord was just delicious and delightful! I cannot wait to read more about them!
The Banshee’s Song
Very interesting and entertaining! I’ve never come across a Banshee tale before. I loved the history involved in this and that this included the ball, but wasn’t centered around it. With twist and turns this keeps you upon your toes. Anything with Fae in it captures my attention.
The Black Rose
This was a very daring and dark tale, even a bit disturbing. I found it was superbly intriguing wondering just who the guy was addressing all of his thoughts to. This had very brief M/M and F/F action. I think the manner in which it was written was brilliant, it was almost like a love letter.
Lost Imprint
This had a very interesting opening setting. Supes are a known thing and being a human isn’t a lot of fun, or good for your health. The title of this is definitely a huge part to this! I love fated mates and what better time to meet then at the Monster Ball? Loved how family is who you choose them to be.
Agents of Night
So this begins with “Agent X-cuse Me?”, and you just know this is going to be epic! With a missing memory and a few tattooed hotties in the mix, this will keep you guessing. What is the truth and who should our girl trust? Loved the epilogue!
Royal Blood
A giggly princess makes her first appearance at the ball. She longs for a bit of freedom and meets some daring and dangerous men.
Turning the Tides
What a sweet and wonderful addition to this year’s Monster Ball! I loved Ada. Her fierce love for her family and determined drive to retrieve what was taken is so endearing! Henrique was a bit dangerous and a bit passionate. This didn’t have a lot of steam, and I’m totally fine with that because this was so well written.
From the Shadows
This was about a girl who can see ghosts, but instead of helping them, she just ignores them or friends them. She goes to the ball and of course meets her perfect match. There is some trickery invloved and it makes things complicated.
Spies Like Us
This was about supe spies! Very intriguing idea! Gotta love it when the perp really is a terrible being. Makes it so much easier to dislike them. The girl in this almost makes a bad choice, but she redeems herself.
Assassin’s Match
Ahhhhhhh! This was everything!!! I’ve longed to see Alexie and Tansy find their way to each other!! What a wonderful place for that to happen, the ball! I absolutely adore the world that one of my fave authors has created and bringing the Monster Ball into the mix was brilliant! I’ve got all the feels and girly squeals happening here!!!
A Note From The Proprietor
This was a very exciting glimpse into The Proprietor! We even see the bartenders enjoying a little down time where their personalities really come out to play!
Just as I loved Year 1, I loved Year 2… maybe even more. There are more characters to love and hate, even more character crossovers, more bartenders/entertainers, and two extra stories. Also, this year included more new to me authors. What’s not to love? Every story kept me turning pages and the stories that will not be continued, were ended succinctly. I look forward to seeing some of these characters develop even more into their own series! Such a fabulous night at the ball and I am already awaiting my ticket for next year.
Bam has done it again! She has weaved this intricate web of stories that com me into perfect harmony. You are transported into each of the stories and it leaves you wanting more. It’s an emotional roller coaster ride that I did not want to get off of. This years Ball is better than last years and I definitely recommend this anthology that is so wonderfully written to anyone!
The Monster Ball Year Two filled with five-star reads. I love the way this anthology works, part of the fun of reading is trying to figure out which author wrote each story, it just added an extra sparkle to the stories, I was convinced I knew a couple and then I would read another story and not have a clue again. I will be honest and most of the stories I would give five-stars each, a couple I would give four to and one I would give three. What I loved most was watching out for characters popping up in the other stories, I always love that. It shows the qualiy of all of the authors as they all bring something special to the table and they each keep the story going so well that you don’t realise that its different authors telling their own stories. This team always bring the scares as well as the great stories.
An unforgettable party of the year! an amazing anthology like no other! monsters come and play at the witching hour! No mortals allowed! All 13 stories take place at this party! How cool is that!? I told you, this party is off the wall!! Monsters will interact with each other so keep an eye! Some find love, heartbreak and others will fight to survive!! Oh! and Lets not forget the sexy bartenders!! Cool signature drinks like Shift & Giggles & Dragons Breath #smores Must read!
Eternal Magic
A bad ass mage and a wizard to die for..literally. Kat has been risking her life and today is no exception. Except its the monster ball after all and the baddest of them all come to play. The one thing Kat was not counting was her heart being involved! Sexy Wizard just might kill her tonight! Loved it! So Steamy!!
As you wish
Genie in a bottle meets sexy siren . Say what? Bound to grant wishes Ryan secretly wishes he could grant his own: freedom. Especially now after meeting Aylana a siren with similar “bound” restrictions. Strangers to romance! #Wishful thinking. This story sounds like it will continue after the ball!
Twisted Tides
a mermaid princess and her hunter. Long lost lovers reunite for this one night! Sweet & Spicy
Shade of danger
A ghost and her viking guardian. Or is she? It was really sweet, romantic and light humor! loved the chemistry between Lina and Nord. Insta connection at first sight! This story sounds like it will continue after the ball!
The banshee
Fae, magic & a cursed banshee. Two lovers unable to be together… until tonight. Lies and betrayal. ugly curse. fate has brought them at the ball and this time its all or nothing! i loved it! I swoon and cried!
The black Rose
This had sarcasm and Laugh out loud scenes that had me dying!!! Sexy Vampire with a mission and a thirsty Succubus Unique POV that will have you scratching your head or laughing
Los Imprint
Shifters! Panthers to be exact. One knows and one doesn’t! The night is only getting started! Let the hunt begin!
Agents of Night
A witch with amnesia! Its Hilarious, romantic and unpredictable magic!Stealing panties was “a thing” Definitely sexy and laugh out loud moments! I loved it! This story sounds like it will continue after the ball!
Turning the tides
Selkies! One shy but fierce Selkie takes matters to her own and decides to stand up and save her family. In the process she might have found a sexy bodyguard she can bring home after the ball
From the shadows
Ghosts drama! Gabriella can see ghosts! She gets invited to the ball and even there ghosts cant seem to leave her alone. She meets a mysterious sexy stranger who also has similar abilities plus some extra charms! it was fun, sassy and will continue!
spy like us
One spy takes her job to seriously… it takes a monster ball to show her even monsters deserve a second chance. And lifelong partners are everything.
assassins match
one desperate witch will do anything to get her love of her life back. Little does she know the joke is on her: He may already be hers
Royal Blood:
Being royal has its perks: gettin in the party! and not so much: getting unwanted attention from thirsty vampires. Its a battle and the struggle is real! She will always remember this night
This is going to be an unpopular response, and that is okay.
I went into this strong, but found myself skimming and skipping after the first few stories. The repetition of the descriptions of the ball got old to me. I love the idea of the ball and different authors writing about the same event. Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t make it a bad book! It just wasn’t it for me at this point.
When I was thinking about what I wanted to write for my review, I initially was going to write a review for each individual story. But as I read through the book and got to the end I realized that I couldn’t do that because I didn’t feel like I had read a bunch of different stories written by different authors. This book was written so beautifully and seamlessly that it was like I was reading one giant book from different POVs, all written by one person. The technique and effort that must have gone into pulling this off is absolutely amazing and I applaud each and every one of you authors. This was one of the best reads I’ve done in a long time. Thank you!
The Monster Ball year 2 came to slay, and BAYBEEE, it has slayed the house down!!!!
13 Awemaztastic authors have come together to bring readers an immersive interconnecting unique and just simply amazing reading experience. I have been dying to see where year 2 would take place and what great characters and stories the authors would come up with this time around. You don’t have to have read MB year 1 to enjoy year 2, only the band, doormen, and bartenders are returning characters. I don’t think there was a dull moment to be had at this year’s ball.
It was actually Monster Ball year 1 that started me reading anthologies and year 2 has broken the glass ceiling on how amazing an anthology can be. I came to year 2 because I loved year 1 so much and couldn’t wait to see what would happen this time around. I’m happy they did another blind release for the first week because many people, me I’m talking about me, tend to skip to the stories by the authors they know and only read those. But this way the reader gets to love a story for the story itself and not just because of who wrote it, giving readers the opportunity to discover new authors. Thank you Bam for bringing all these authors together, and thank you to all the authors (you ladies ROCK) for another epic Monster Ball!! Hoping for a year 3, hint hint, fingers crossed. #2019MustReadAnthology
OMG I thought Year One was a blast and the phenomenal authors ;however Year Two bought out the some phenomenal authors from Year One but Year Two absolutely rocked it. The Monsters were off the charts and the stories meshed even better. I’m so lucky to have read both years. I’m looking forward to Year Three. Phenomenal Anthology.
Welcome to THE MONSTER BALL. Make sure to reserve your ticket and get ready for some amazing characters!!
“Just as the moon has
brought me to you,
So shall the moon bring
you to the ball.
All Hallows Eve.
The Witching Hour.” THE MONSTER BALL: YEAR 2
The characters in each story were phenomenal. I can’t really say that I had a favorite because you just can’t pinpoint one favorite because each Paranormal character was so awesome!!
The story-line to each story was fast paced but incredibly addicting and I can’t really choose which one I loved more because each individual story was so memorable and I couldn’t get enough.
The authors are so fantastic. 13 Award Winning, Bestselling Authors blew me away with their stories. Each of these authors are incredibly talented and have their own style of writing, but they made each story come to life and they all fit very well within this anthology. This is for sure my favorite Spooky Anthology for 2019 and I highly recommend it!!
MBA Year 2 is better than Year 1! So much is happening at the Ball. Mystery, intrigue, magic, love, humor, beautiful woman, gorgeous men, and hot, sexy bartenders. I talking about you Dec.
The way the authors intertwine their stories with each other is awesome. I love the blind release. Guessing which author wrote which story makes reading The Monster Ball Anthology fun. Don’t worry, there will be an update to add the author’s name. I love that you don’t have to read the stories in order. Pick your favorite author first, or maybe a new one. You are guaranteed to have a memorable time at the Ball no matter what.
The Proprietor knows how to throw an epic party!
I love fantasy books, but don’t usually go for straight up romances, but this anthology was fantastic to read! Each story is so unique, but they all weave together with small details and views that you cannot wait to see what’s next. The different characters and authors really made it feel like you were experiencing the ball from different points of view. This anthology has me looking up new authors and waiting for a continuation. I cannot wait until next year!
Monster Ball Year 2 is just as good as Year 1, if not better. This year we get a taste of monsters we don’t normally get to read about! The stories are sexy, saucy, & sweet, & I love all the crossovers! The shared world is done so well, everything just flows so nicely!
#GreatGreenPantyDebacle!
Who is the mysterious person who hold a special ball for all sort of monsters. The vampire who tells you his love story but leaves questions at the. Perhaps that genie in the bottle could grant your hearts desires but at what price and are you willing? Come under the sea and be with the water fae, will she find true love and just. What would you do to escape even just for a night. To leave all behind for possibly love or just some good old fashion lust. I was caught in the magic of the ball, my own wishes to be able to actually attend this ball. There is so much wonder and mystery, my favorite story wss Twisted Tides. Would of continue ready a whole book with that story and seeing what Aqua future hold. The Black Rose was my second favorite, followed by You Wish. The way the authors write is captivating, I felt like I was there at the ball and didn’t want to leave. Come dive into this wonderful book with so many twist and turns, don’t forget to get a drink from Dec. It’s a can’t put down read, get lost in the ball and have fun.
Monster Ball Year 2 is edgier, sexier, and more intense than the last! It matches the location perfectly and will have you wishing you were monster enough for an invite. Prepare for stories that’ll have your adrenaline pumping, heart breaking, and body overheating. The stories are all woven seamlessly together with some crossover characters giving the feeling of being there in real-time. I also loved the unusual nature of the monsters this time around. Definitely my favorite anthology series!
Eternal Magic-
Like your romance with a little kick and tempting darkness, then this is the one! Prepare for a battle of wills and sexual tension that’s off the charts! I wanna be Katya and would love my personal Dragneel. The source of her magic was something I’ve never seen before and I loved it. A top three favorite of these stories!
As You Wish-
A lot of story crammed into a limited space but it was complex, introspective and left me curious and wanting. Their connection was sweet and I loved how they made the most of their night. I’m so glad the story will be continued in the future and look forward to an expanded story.
Twisted Tides-
A story that pulls at your heartstrings and has a little fairy tale flair to it! I loved the clever twists and second chance themes.
Shade of Danger-
I liked the mystery and Viking feel but the opening left me wondering where the story was going. Once at the ball, the story picked up and I fell in love with the connection between Lina and Nord. The mystery surrounding Lina and clues throughout the story left me wanting and I can’t wait for more of their story!
The Banshee’s Song-
Here’s the emotional ride you’ve been waiting for! It’s full of sorrow, deception, and longing that will break your heart before considering returning it. Beautiful scenery and descriptions but the complex names pulled me from the story a bit. Give them nicknames because the ending is worth it.
The Black Rose-
An exciting, entertaining story with cons, twists, and attitude that’ll keep you glued until the last page. I don’t recommend starting it while eating and the writing style is a bit unusual but overall, I still enjoyed it. I loved the character cameos and interaction in this too.
Lost Imprint-
An unexpected but well written and swoonworthy romance. The relationship and teasing between Raine and Ivory won me over from the start and it only gets better. Brandon was gentlemanly but sexy and alpha in a way that had me melting. A great story fans of shifters and alpha males are sure to love!
Agents of Night-
This story has it all…amnesia, tall, dark and sexy, and a panty parade! I admire the author’s ability to fit a complex story with well developed characters and a truckload of emotions into a novella without it feeling rushed or forced. I loved the chemistry and playfulness between the characters and was amped up enough to want to jump into the story and take someone out for their betrayal. A top favorite of the anthology for me and there’s going to be more coming!
Royal Blood-
A milder story of shirking duties, living for oneself and embracing opportunity. The longing, danger, and stolen moments of happiness, plus the ending was a refreshing difference to other stories in the anthology. I was left with some mystery and unanswered questions but it also adds to the charm of the story too.
Turning the Tides-
I don’t believe I’ve read this author before but the writing style and their story telling abilities have won me over! I loved the subtle, slow burn, witty ploy, and fellow monster camaraderie in the story. The villain is truly creepy and it contrasted well with the romance and family devotion. Definitely a favorite story and the ending lines were perfect!
From the Shadows-
Gah, this story was incredible and an almost instant favorite! It’s quirky, sweet, and I’ve adopted Stacy and Gabriella as besties for life. I love the ghost characters and the heat exchanged between Gabriella and Rexton. I knew I’d love the story after the first two paragraphs and I wasn’t disappointed. This is another of my favorites of the whole set!
Spies Like Us-
Feel like kicking butt, taking names, and getting some sweet revenge, check this out! I loved Teigen’s sassiness and stubbornness and her ability to get in and out of trouble at every turn. Bash is my type and I couldn’t help but fall for him. An adventure of a story that moves quickly and is certain to keep you entertained.
Assassin’s Match-
Whoa, didn’t see this one coming! Mystery, unrequited love, and a shocking twist that’ll leave you with warm fuzzies and pleasantly surprised. I love the mix of supernaturals and the hard choices Tansy faces. It’ll keep your adrenaline pumping and have you on the edge of your seat rooting for the characters to find a way.
It shouldn’t have surprised me that the second year of The Monster Ball was a amazing as the first, and in some ways better, but it did. I was swept to this ball on the magic moon and was able to see it from so many different angles. Some of the characters crossed over and the setting was described in such a way that I truly believed each story took place at the same place and with the same people.
I had my favorites as I did last year – Twisted Tides, The Black Rose, Eternal Magic, Turning the Tides… Oh, what am I saying? I loved them all. The characters are colorful, each attending the ball for different reasons, all of them looking for something that puts meaning into their lives. It was fun watching them interact, fall in love, defend themselves. find their endings or new beginnings. And there was tons of romance mixed with a bit of steam. Something for everyone in a fantasy world. And finally meeting the proprietor gives us a look into the person who makes these balls happen each year. It would be terrific to see the proprietor get the same satisfaction out of the ball as everyone else does. Perhaps next year.
As I’ve said before and I’ll say again, this was a brilliant idea on the part of Bam Shepherd because it brings together a wealth of authors and characters in a setting that each of them can come alive. Some of the stories come to a conclusion while others will lead to a series or are involved in a series by that particular author. Whichever ending was involved, I was introduced to new authors I look forward to reading in the future and entertained by authors I’m already familiar with who make me want to read more of their works. It was wonderful, and I can’t wait to attend next year’s ball.
**This may contain spoilers, read with caution.**
This is one of my favorite anthology. I truly enjoy “The Monster Ball” anthologies. Year two definitely did not disappoint. This time around there was quite the variety of “monsters” supernatural characters. Which was pretty cool. A lot of the stories had an undertone of similar stories but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment of each story. I love how most of the stories intertwine with each other and this year it was so cool to have hints and interaction for THE Proprietor of the Monster Ball. I highly recommend this anthology.
Story One: “Eternal Magic” This story was so fun to read. It was interesting to read about Katya and Dragneel adventures. It was great to see hints of the Proprietor in this story as well. Katya is a very interesting character. The dual POV was great as always; between Katy and the dark wizard, Dragneel. I love getting both points of view of the story. It adds to the understanding. Dragneel is dark and sexy and his chemistry with Katya was hot. The game of the card was epic and wow what an ending. Excellent story.
Story Two: “As You Wish” Love the genie main character of this story. And so much fun to read to read with the main character as a male. This storyline was interesting with the characters having a chance to “break” from their trapped lives. Ryan and the female main character, Alayna growth through similar circumstances begin a budding romance. I’m happy to see there will be a continuation of these characters outside of the Monster Ball anthology. I hope they find their happily ever after.
Story Three: “Twisted Tides” This was a very unique. Breck a hunter is ready to be done with his current lifestyle. He has one purpose for The Monster Ball and that is to find a special monster. One he hasn’t seen in a long time. Aqua is a Princess and set to become Queen soon in her sea world. She is looking for a fun night, however without her guards it may be a dangerous night, especially with the sea witch in attendance. The reunion of Aqua and Breck has many ups and downs and I was biting my lip and nails the whole story.
Story Four: “Shades of Danger” Wow this story was not what I expected and was completely awesome. It’s from a Ghost Point of view. This ghost, a female, has a chance to attend The Monster Ball. Nord, a Viking like guardian on break also gets a chance to attend The Monster Ball. However he is not so excited to go. Right away Nord is drawn to a woman at the ball and knows he is her guardian. I enjoyed reading this story and I’m excited to see that these characters will have more stories to come outside The Monster Ball.
Story Five: “The Banshee’s Song” A Banshee, how sweet is that. I had never imagined reading a story about a banshee as the main character. What a fascinating story, especially how she turned from a Goddess to a Banshee, along with her sister. Gwyn is the Lord of the Hunt and has an interesting past with Aoibheall, the banshee. Their reunion was jaw dropping and full of betrayal, discovery, and growth. Excellent story. I wish there was more from these characters.
Story Six: “The Black Rose” Wow I didn’t know you could steal a ticket to The Monster Ball. Or . . . was that part of the Proprietors plan? Hmm Devin needs to go the ball to recover something important to his coven. This story was the first time I had read where the main character (male) refers to the other character and love interest as you. I can’t think about what it’s called in the writing world but it’s as if you the reader is that character. It was really cool to read it that way. It’s a very interesting story and keeps you as a reader invested. Great character building between the male/female characters and I love the supporting character Garsh.
Story Seven: “Lost Imprint” This was a very short story but had a wonderful love story. It would have been great to get more storyline with these characters after the Monster Ball. Raine is the first “human” that has been invited to the ball, so she thinks. I enjoying reading how Raine comes to learn more about herself and who she really is. One of the six council members of the Supernatural city Raine lives, sexy and sought after, Brandon Rivera helps Raine with her discovery. Great chemistry between these characters.
Story Eight: “Agents of Night” Wow this story had my attention from page one. Agent Sabine gets her memory wiped and is send on a mission at the ball. However since she doesn’t get an invitation she has to steal one. So much happens for Sabine during the ball including some interaction with The Proprietor. Awesome I really enjoyed how this story plays out. Sabine and Blaze have amazing chemistry and what a mystery on how she may have known him before her memory was wiped. I’m very excited for more of these characters.
Story Nine: “Royal Blood” Sarah, a Princess attends the ball alone and with out her royal guards. Two different vampires vie for her attention, Mat and Tad. This story was very interesting with Sarah’s experiences with both these different vampires. I wish there was continuation of the story between these characters but it ends at the ball.
Story Ten: “Turning the Tides” This story was heartbreaking and nail biting at throughout. But a good HEA. Definitely a great story. Ada, a selkie, is trying to rescue her Mum and Aunts from the evil bird like man. Her only chance is at the ball. With her new friends, Nia the fun Dryad and a druid help she has a chance to rescue her families pelts. Their experiences are nail biting and will keep you on your toes. A certain hot, sexy, Necromancer plays a special role in Ada’s story as well. An excellent and unique story.
Story Eleven: “From the Shadows” Gabriella can hear and see ghosts, some of them are her friends. As she attends the ball, a ghost asks her for help. As she helps this ghost with another that is like her, she learns there is more to her abilities than she thought. This is a great character growth story. I’m excited for more stories about these characters.
Story Twelve: “Spies Like Us” Dhampir vampire is eye candy for a full blood vampire. Little does the vampire know that the dhampir isn’t who he really thinks she is. This story was very interesting. The ending was not what I had expected but in a good way. The characters are developed well so you like who you should and dislike who you should. Great fun story to read. Very spy like and another fun appearance by the Proprietor.
Story Thirteen: “Assassin’s Match” This story was amazing with all the emotions. WOW. Tanzy’s story has so much going on especially when she crosses the path of her ex. There is an epic battle towards the end that has your on pins and needles with how it turns out. Very fun and surprising ending. I really wish we had more stories on these characters. It would be fun to see what happens after the ball.
Overall another amazing and epic Monster Ball. I love seeing the Proprietor in this year, especially in the note at the end of the book. As usual, the supporting Monster Ball characters are awesome and interact so well throughout all the stories. I can’t wait for Year three.
**Eternal Magic **
I love the darkness and powerful characters in this story! Power struggles, mystery and love & loss make this story incredibly thrilling!
**As You Wish**
Mother Of Monsters….what an incredibly magnetizing story! Alayna and Ryan are so magical! Down to earth storyline, 2 perfectly imperfect characters and marvelous side characters and with a desire to read more!
**The Black Rose **
I liked the story, although I didn’t like it’s written style.
Sabine and Devin, such devilish creatures, yet incredibly beautiful and powerful. Definitely a fun read.
**Royal Blood **
I really liked the characters, although I would have preferred to be more to the story. It’s short, fun and dangerous!
**Lost Imprint **
I loved this story! The characters are incredibly detailed. Ivory and Raine are amazing and Brandon was so great!
A thrilling storyline, that makes you want more!
**From The Shadows **
I really liked the theory for this story, but there was something about it that just didn’t seem right?!? The storyline was fun, but I think the characters were off. I’m kinda disappointed.
**Assassin’s Match**
Absolutely brilliant! I loved this one, a sweet second chance for Tansy and Alexei!
Excellent characters, beyond thrilling storyline and beautiful world building! A perfect read!
