The moment I heard Ryder’s voice I was a goner. As a photographer, I was used to working with beautiful people, but Ryder Williams was the most perfect male specimen that had ever stood before me. I knew without a doubt it would take no time at all for him to be the next big thing… or for him to steal my heart. Model and photographer, we shouldn’t cross that line, but there was no stopping the … was no stopping the passion we felt. Nothing else mattered. Not the age difference. Not that he was a client. Not even our pasts.
After my assistant caught us together, he was gone. I tried to put him out of my head, until fate threw him back into my life and my bed.
Time and time again we’re brought together, should I keep fighting or finally accept what my heart wants?
The Model is a stand-alone in the Love is Blind series. The series has crossover characters from each novel. It is not required to read the books in order, but it is recommended to enhance the reading experience.

This book is a great age gap story. Lexie is a 32 year old photographer. Ryder is a 21 year old model who is hotter than hot. When they come together at a photo shoot, their chemistry is hot. Their lives continue to intersect and they are so awesome together. Another great story by Harlow!
A well written story about an older woman younger man. I really liked the way the characters were realistically portrayed.
Lexie was a strong, independent successful woman and Ryder was honest, true to himself (and Lexie) and was not pretentious. I love the way he loved.
The chemistry was prevalent throughout the story and the element of suspense was an added touch that kept me wondering what would happen!
An enjoyable read!
Lexie is a photographer and works with beautiful people everyday but Ryder is something more. Ryder is gorgeous with a great personality and is a model that travels for his job. The two end up sleeping together. Ryder leaves after without a word. A couple of months later they meet again. Lexie’s ex Ben is an awful man and creepy. The drama, angst, and suspense are all there in this story as well as smoking hot sex scenes. A good age gap romance.
This was a awesome read that was fun flirty and a whole lot of fun. This story was filled with romance from the very first pages to the very end.I loved the characters they we so easy to love.Ryder was a such a sweetheart also kind and caring and compassionate and sexy as sin a man who might be younger but, acted like a man who had years of experience especially when it came to women.
I loved Lexie who was smart and sexy and driven and at the top of her craft but, when it came to her personal life she was such a mess.
Ryder and Lexie’s chemistry was hotter the hell and no matter the age difference they were perfect for one another.
I have to say that I really loved it as it was so much fun and we had a smile on our face the entire time reading it.This story is the kind that makes you feel good because it was so much fun and added with a little bit of suspense and the unknown it was just perfect.
It’s not every day the age gap trope is written with a younger man/older woman concept, so I was very much intrigued by that. I’m happy to report that Harlow Layne did an excellent job with Ryder and Lexie and their story! I never really felt their age-gap at all. Ryder was very mature for his age. The conflict of this story stemmed more from outside drama rather than drama between them and that was refreshing as well! Excellent job all around!
The Model was my first Harlow Layne novel and I enjoyed it. This older woman younger man romance was sweet and steamy with a hint of mystery and I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved these two characters. Ryder and Lexie had such an easy comfortable way about them, making them both relatable and likable. From the moment they met, their chemistry was instant and intense and with Ryder being a dirty talking sexy alpha, their steamy scenes were sizzling hott. The danger element added an unexpected aspect to this already enjoyable story. The Model was a fantastic page turner and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of reverse age-gap romance.
When professional, experienced photographer, Lexie, sees the gorgeous new model, Ryder, who’s to be in today’s shoot, she’s suddenly affected by this Adonis of a man. It’s unusual for her to be so attracted to a model, as she works with the most beautiful people in the world all day long and doesn’t give them a second glance beyond photographing them. But there’s something extra about Ryder that she can’t get past. And when they end up in bed that first day, she still can’t get him out of her head even long after.
Ryder may be younger than sexy Lexie as he calls her, but he knows what and who he wants, and it’s her. But with his and her busy schedule, and all her defense mechanisms, he’s not sure he’ll ever get through to her, or even be on the same continent as she at the same time. But fate just might have something special in store for this fabulous couple…
I loved this story. Far deeper and more substantial than its title, The Model is a rich, delicious story about letting yourself be vulnerable to and open to, love.
A very well written insta lust story. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters so much. I fell in love with the characters and I wasn’t disappointed at all with this story.

I really enjoyed this book, I always like a good age gap romance and when it’s an older woman and younger man, it’s even better for me. I loved the sexual chemistry between Ryder and Lexie, the way they were together not only sexually but in the way he worshipped the ground she walked on. The way she looked at him like he hung the moon. Their first encounter was a catalyst for a truly beautiful love story.
I did get a little antsy. I wanted things to move along a bit quicker in some parts and in others, I thought some of the important parts were skirted around. I wanted more information in respect of a few instances and circumstances in this book. But never really got the answers.
This is my first read by this author and I am sure it won’t be my last as I really enjoyed it. I would Totally recommend this book and even though it’s book 2 I didn’t feel I needed to have read the first book. I enjoyed and read this book as a standalone.

New to me author. Age gap are a fave of mine. I love reading how they deal with the age difference.
He’s hot to trot for her. She likes him but because of the age difference and the fact he’s the model and she’s a renowned photographer she’s not sure she should cross that professional line. He easily summed it up ‘You can’t deny our chemistry’.
I should have loved this book however I found it rather slow going and a bit lacking. They are a great couple and yes Ryder was right with their chemistry so I can’t really pinpoint why I didn’t love this book.

ARC review
When I read the first chapter of this book, I was afraid that I had made a bad choice. The writing in the chapter was off-putting. I almost put the book down and removed myself from my commitment to review the book. I knew I needed to stick with it and give the author more of a chance, and as I continued she pulled me in. The writing got better or I adjusted to the author’s writing style, and I loved it. The hero was the kind of man we all dream about. He was sweet, mature, dependable, extremely sexy, and did not play games. The heroine was a little more difficult, but she figured out her feelings in more than enough time to reach for a happy ending. This book was sweet and the chemistry between the main characters was off the charts. The plot was predictable, but it was an enjoyable read just the same.

Ever since I read the synopsis I’ve so been looking to picking this book up! As soon as I could I started reading it and I liked how I was pulled into this story quickly.
Lexie and Ryder’s journey was every bit blushworthy! From the heat between these two to how they kept me on my toes, and more, I really liked these two! I really enjoyed getting to see different sides to these characters.
Ms.Layne brings the heat with The Model! I can’t wait to pick up more of her work in the future!

This is book 2 in the Love is Blind series and can be read as a standalone. OW/YM romance and I am all for it. Lexie and Ryder were so good together. They have an insane chemistry between them and I loved them together. You will be sucked into their story from page one and you won’t be able to put it down until you see the last page. Highly recommend this story. I will be going back and reading book 1 in this series. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
While I do believe this author is very talented, this story wasn’t completely for me. I just don’t enjoy insta love. I didn’t know this was one, but it was nice to check out a new to me author. The trope of reverse age gap is not one I read a whole lot, if at all. I didn’t mind that aspect of the story. It was kinda nice to dive into one of those. I would consider reading her again, I don’t think I could do the insta love again, but she was a nice find for new to me authors.
Ok I read lots of sexy books but this one was awesome! There’s was just something about this story that I found I enjoyed more than others. Though Ryder and Lexi’s attraction is instantaneous their relationship spans some time in this story developing their feelings along the way. Age is but a number between them! This is a must magnificent read!

I can’t get enough of Lexie!! It typically takes me a little while to like the heroine of a story but in this case I liked her instantly! She was like a colorful fireball that draws you immediately. Lexie and Ryder meet when she’s his photographer and he’s instantly blown away by everything about her so after the shot is wrapped and they end back back in each other’s orbit again both is more then happy about it. This story had more facets then just the romance and I can’t wait to read more from Harlow
I’ll read anything Harlow Layne writes. But this one I felt it in my soul. Hot, sexy, addicting, and perfection come to mind when I think of Lexie and Ryder. My kindle was on fire with these two. Older woman younger man sign me up. The love these two had for each other was amazing. I literally couldn’t get enough.
Loved the chemistry between Lexie and Ryder, wonderful reverse age gap story. Good read!!
Fans of the older woman/younger man theme will find themselves captivated by this decadently delicious romance of 32 year old Lexie Keene and 21 year old model du jour Ryder Williams as it’s full of sweet sentiments while teeming with scorching sexual encounters. In a case of instalove, these two are immediately drawn to each other and undergo a rocky journey full of self-doubts and danger from her ex that kept me turning the pages frantically. While much about their journey felt familiar, the talented Ms. Layne still crafted it in a way that pulled me in wholeheartedly. Though this book is the second installment in the Love is Blind series it stands strongly on its own courtesy of a combustible main couple and their rocky road to a HEA that you’ll find yourself rooting for every step of the way.
Lexie’s the kind of heroine you can’t help but like as she’s sassy and strong-willed. She tells it like it is but still has a tender heart that’s been recently bruised by her ex cheating on her, an ex who becomes more dangerous as the story progresses. Lexie’s confident when it comes to her career but when it comes to men she’s starting to think they’ll all cheat on her eventually, which had me aching for her, and frustrated too by the barrier it put between her and Ryder. Though their initial interactions were sizzling and unforgettable, courtesy of a one-night stand, it took a bit of time for them to finally find each other again as their demanding careers kept them apart in one of the realistic issues they had to deal with throughout the story. They also had to deal with her insecurities and the ever-increasing danger Ben dealt her that kept me on the edge of my seat.
Ryder may be young in years but he left a big and bold impression on me in this story. He was sweet and charming when first meeting him, sexy beyond belief, but behind the beautiful packaging was an even more beautiful heart. He was self-assured and unafraid to go after what he really wanted…and what he wanted was a future with Lexie. From the moment he saw her he knew she was “the one” and though it was a rocky road for them he never gave up on what they could have by each other’s side. He was there for her through the good, the bad, and everything in between and each turn of the page endeared him to me all the more. He was an equally kindhearted son, modeling to make life more comfortable for those he cared about, willing to tolerate the loneliness as long as he could make things better for others. Along with that sweetness was an innate sensuality that made for lots of sizzling dirty talk too which made this story even more captivating. From the first page to the last Ryder showed himself to be a drool-worthy hero full of heart and soul that I’m still dreaming about at night.
This was the perfect story to forget all your troubles to courtesy of an appealing theme and unforgettable main couple. Sizzling and sweetness abound in a satisfying romance nicely rounded out by a bit of suspense that kept me on edge from start to finish. Surrounding this memorable main couple was a small, but equally memorable group of secondary characters. Of those, two stood out to me but for very different reasons. Lexie’s dangerous ex Ben may have started out harmless but his increasingly demanding nature quickly came to the forefront to leave her in danger and my heart racing. Lexie’s friend Raine also impressed me for her down to earth nature and a big personality just waiting to be unleashed. She and Lexie are a good support for each other throughout the story and I’d love to see more of her in the future. On a whole this was an immensely satisfying romance with a delightful epilogue that took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions before leaving me with a smile on my face!
