When I woke up this morning, I never expected my first massage client of the day to be notorious Boston mob boss Walker McManus. Nor did I expect the dangerously attractive criminal to offer fifty thousand dollars to give me the massage, instead. The surprises keep coming, too. Because Walker isn’t satisfied with one session. Oh, no. He wants an entire lifetime of them. With me. And he’s not … accustomed to hearing the word no…

Another deliciously devious and gritty read.
I thoroughly enjoy all of these stories.
This one was a fiesty one.
Loved the possessiveness as always.
One could say I popped my Jessa Kane cherry or I’m a first timer. I’m sorry that was so bad it just felt very fitting. Also it has been stuck in my head all night. I really liked this book. I normally don’t read anything that is short because I don’t know. It was really nice thought and It got me out of my impending reading slump.
I wasn’t really that into this one compared to all the other Jessa Kane stories that I’ve read. Honestly, I think it’s just me and maybe I’ve been in a book slump lately or something. I was just a bit bored by this and had a hard time getting through it.
Walker is 35, a mob boss in Boston, and he meets Meadow when his best friend gifts him a massage for his birthday. He doesn’t even want a massage but as soon as he sees Meadow, he’s instantly obsessed and offering her money to “give her a massage” aka basically touch and lick her places.
But Meadow’s boss is a creep and tries to say she was being paid for sex and he needs in on that action. He ends up ripping up her check and she goes home and decides she’s not dealing with Walker again. Exceeeeept duh, Walker’s not having that and he kinda kidnaps her to his house.
She tries to escape, his enemies try to get her, yadda yadda… happily ever after and shit with lots of sex scattered throughout the book. There was no Daddy talk but Walker liked to refer to himself as her King and Meadow as his Queen.
Meh, whatevs. Glad I read it but definitely not close to my favorite at all.

As always, a great read if you are looking for something thrilling and smutty. Just too short. Jessa Kane should be making full length novels. I always want more.
I Imagined Bostonian Ben Affleck or Matt Damon Talking.
*read on KU. No need of sugar daddies called promo teams*
I’ve known of Jessa Kane as a concept, but I’m not sure I’ve ever read one of her stories. Her covers are always so gorgeous! This one was, and I had to pick it up. I loved the leads, and their chemistry was intense. I love how the leading lady stood her ground. She was so relatable! I love how the leading man evolved. It’s a sweet short tease with lots of steam. I didn’t expect the writing to be this descriptive and visual! I highlighted lots of details of how she described feelings and situations. I’m looking forward to reading more of her stories! I recommend this to lovers of novellas, steam and opposites attract.
ORIGINAL COMMENT
Didn’t think I’d be so entertained by this! LOL. The couple is adorable. And the comebacks are great. Smut was okay. I’m going to read more of her stuff!
Sometimes you find love when you weren’t even looking. Really enjoyed this story and characters. I loved how Walker and Meadow interact as they are starting to feel for each other and when they figure out that it’s love. Yeah, he’s a mobster and there is a little about that, but the story only touches on it a little (definitely not all about the mob) and then gets back to the good stuff! Definitely recommend. Loved it!
Jessa Kane’s book are a guilty pleasure for me.
When I read her books I’m always guaranteed a HEA.
We always (at least of all the books of hers I’ve read) get a possessive alpha male.
Plus you can’t go wrong with dirty sexy scenes =)
In the case of The Mobster’s Masseuse, Walker McManus has made a name of himself by putting the fear of God in people. He lives and thrives on fear and has never been denied anything that he wanted. However, Meadow challenges him in a way that makes him want to force her to submit, but only to him.
This romance was a cut above. The atmosphere between the hero and heroine positively sizzled, the conflict was deep and convincing, and the book was blissfully free of spelling and grammar errors.
A wonderful short romance to escape into for an hour or so, and I’ll be looking out for more by Jessa Kane.
