This book grabs you right in the beginning and doesn’t let you go! The plot was dark and twisty, and the characters were described in such detail, that you felt you actually knew them. It was very easy to get caught up in Rose’s pain and feel her guilt, anger and anguish along with her.
This novel is a “thinker” and will feed your innate sense of paranoia and leave you wondering just how well you THINK you know the people you are closest to. Slater has done an excellent job in crafting a story that will stick with you long after you’ve reached the book’s end.

Loved the ending!
Loved it!!!!
Great read! Keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next.
Loved the ending!
It was a very strange book it was hard to stay focused but it was a hell of a Twist at the end and I never saw would have predicted what happened at the end the best friend’s brother admitting what happened and the rapist stayed in prison
I enjoyed the plot and it was well written, however it takes some getting use to when it is written in another country. I know it is still English and not difficult, but it still causes a pause. The twist at the end was really good.
Couldn’t put it down- grabs you from the first page. Think you know Who done it? NO you don’t.
I really enjoyed this book. It was my first read by this author, not my last. I was about a third way through the book before i realized something major. After I face palmed my forehead, i got even more excited about the story. Well done
The Mistake By: K.L. Slater outstanding, psychological, suspense, crime thriller! Keeps you guessing to the very end, and just when you ‘think’ you know who did it boom, nope and wow you’ll be wildly surprised at this whodunnit. Narration By: Lucy Price-Lewis sends the story over the top into amazing, she is absolutely one of the very best narrators ever! Highly Recommended 5 Stars
K.L.Slater researches her subject and then spins an intriguing storyline. I love her books, especially this one.
It was okay. Fairly well written but lacked depth of character. I did like the ending quite a bit.
This book was so good I had a hard time putting it down. Never expected the ending. Loved this book.
Intriguing!
I read it straight through.
This book has you suspecting everyone of the murder. The ending is unexpected and great!
I didn’t want to put it down!
Had me guessing until the end.
The plot itself was interesting, but the characters were flat and unengaging. I really didn’t care what happened to them. Lots of superfluous information that was distracting rather than entertaining. I wouldn’t read this author again.
