I really enjoyed The Mischief Thief. It isn’t my usual genre but I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for Book Two!
I love the characters in this cozy read! Adam and Chaney both broken people yet willing to help. I love how Adam tried to help her during his pain. The growing connection makes me hope a romance will bloom in the future . The mystery added a bit of edge to the story, keeping me hooked until the end.
I really liked this book. The characters had depth and great, complex back stories. There was good in the ‘bad’ girl and bad in the ‘good’ guy. Lots of action and things going on to pull you through the book and interested in what was going to happen next. This was one where, at the end, you go, “Nooooo! What happens next?” You get invested in the characters and where their lives go after the book ends. Lucky for us it is the first in a (hopefully) series.
