Now he’s bonded to a human.A woman looking for a reason to live.… woman looking for a reason to live.
Briana thinks her life is over after the loss of her child. Instead, she falls into the arms of a merman who is anything but cold-blooded. He’s wild, seductive, and sets her blood on fire every time he touches her, and soon she begins to need him for more than his magic to breathe underwater. He might just give her a new purpose.
But as dangers encroach from every side, Zantu must choose; keep his new mate at his side or keep her safe.
Either way, he’s sure he’ll end up with a broken heart.

Kind of cheesy. Characterslacked personality
Basically an excuse for sex scenes; I don’t mind erotic content per se but honestly, it should sustain the storyline, not the other way around, at least for my liking.
It was OK. Interesting premise of mermen who mate for life and fade away in sadness if they get caught and then left by flighty mermaids. It starts with sex right away and just keeps pounding away. Our hero is gun-shy, his brother is not sensible and not adequately protective of the daughter; our wounded and formerly suicidal heroine is too stupid to live but loyal to her new mate, and I wanted to strangle the mermaids with their hair. Might read the brother’s story; might not. This was an amusing couple of hours read but I want a bit more substance in my books usually.
Strange
The idea of a merman book was, sadly, better than the reality. The underwater descriptions were actually quite good, but the story just fell flat for me and so did the characters.
I loved the ending.
This was a light weight easy read. It wasn’t great but not bad. So if your looking for a relaxing read then go for it.
Too unbelievable even for underwater living.
Unbelievable story line. Too much sex and not enough content.
Interesting, I don’t know that this field of paranormal has been explored enough yet and I would like to see more. This book is done fairly well, a smattering of world building is done, culture ect, looking forward to Tamsin Ley next work.
