Navy SEAL Forbidden Romance Aria—I teach mermaid fitness at a ritzy hotel next to the Naval Amphibious Base. I know better than to let one of those famous frogmen chase my tail. But in a moment of weakness, I submit to Erik, a tattooed badass Navy SEAL. After one night of incredible passion, I can’t stop thinking about his cocky ways and his dirty mouth. But I am about to train to be the first … I am about to train to be the first female Navy SEAL.
When I show up on the first day of training, I’m horrified to realize that Erik is my BUD/S instructor. He’s the only person who stands in the way of me achieving my dream.
I’m not a quitter. He can taunt me, tease me, and run me ragged, but I’ll never ring that bell.
Erik—Aria is the most incredible woman I’ve ever met. She won the gold medal for synchronized swimming, and she looks like a little mermaid the way she moves underwater. Once I find out that the sexy redhead is teaching aquatic classes next to my base, I vow to do anything to make her mine.
After a mind-blowing month together, she tells me she needs to go away to train. I assume it’s for another synchro competition.
I’m dead wrong.
She shows up in BUD/S as a member of the first class to let in women. And I’m her instructor.
There’s no way in hell I will lower the standards of my Team to please the brass and make a political statement.
It doesn’t matter how much I want her because she’s forbidden to me now. She will obey my every command.
She can try to pass hell week, but she will fail.
I’m a Navy SEAL, a Triton, a god of the sea.
And she will never be part of my world.
TRITON is a full-length stand alone romance novel with a HEA. No cheating. No cliffhanger. more
It was OK… the end really lost me. 🙁
Good read I’m old and I don’t feel that men and women have to share every aspect of their lives And careers with the opposite sex. That said, a women’s seal team could be pretty awesome.
I thought it was about them meeting up again at training, but the story was all about them together beforehand. The author must have mentioned it a thousand times that the male is a navy seal- ok we get it!
This book was great! A different story line, showing a strong woman with big goals and ideas. The man had to open his mind to something new. I loved it! Strong characters, great story, romantic, eye opening!
Wow
I enjoyed the characters and they were well developed but for me the book ended abruptly
Ariel is my favorite princess…this was a dream come true for a romance lover like me. All the beauty of the little mermaid mixed with the naughty undertones of a traditional grown up romance novel. Bravo!
enjoyed this book, you need to go to next book also…whole thing is very entertaining.
Couldn’t stop reading
This was definitely a different take on the normal Navy seal romances. Think little mermaid. This book was so good I couldn’t put it down. This book featured a female Navy seal that I think was pretty awesome. The chemistry between the main characters is hot!! Will definitely read more from this author!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
This is the first book I’ve read by Alana Albertson and I will be reading more in the future. If you like The Little Mermaid then you’ll love this story. Triton is the Navy Seal version of the The Little Mermaid where we meet Aria, an Olympic gold medalist syncronized swimmer and Erik a badass Navy Seal. She’s determined to be the first female to graduate from BUD/S and he doesn’t think women should be allowed to join the Teams.
The chemistry is hot and as with any love story there are some hurdles they have to jump but at the end it’s all worth it.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Military Romance meets spin off of a fairy tale. Aria is one strong and determined woman. As if winning an Olympic gold medal isn’t enough she sets her sights on becoming the first female seal. During her journey, she crosses paths with the cocky Navy seal Erik, who strongly believe that the Navy is no place for a woman. Their story is one filled with steamy encounters and a slow building chemistry that will leave them both questioning their both their beliefs and priorities. Neither expected to fall in love but when face with it, will love conquer all?
This story was great and gave readers a unique spin on a romance by showing that the heroine doesn’t alway have to be a damsel in distress waiting for a man to save her. Fans of Seal romances be sure to pick up a copy of Triton!
