The complete Mercy Academy series is now available in one box set! Start reading these steamy stories that are full of teen angst and troubled bullies seeking redemption. BOOK ONE: BEG FOR MERCY Aric Prince is an All-American high school football star with a body built like a Greek god and hair so beautiful he could sell shampoo by the boatloads. The only problem is that Aric’s also a rich, … that Aric’s also a rich, arrogant, and gigantic prick. Nothing but filth and insults come out of his smirking mouth, constantly reminding me that poor, trailer park trash girls like myself don’t belong in his pretentious academy.
Aric and his best friends all think they’re untouchable.
But the cocky bastard is finally going down this year.
I’ve hit the motherload of blackmail on the jerk, pun intended, and I can’t wait to give him exactly what he deserves.
Aric Prince’s reign at the academy is coming to an end.
Before I’m done with him, he’ll be on his knees, begging for mercy.
BOOK TWO: CRAVE YOUR MERCY
Blake Sullivan’s perfect life is imploding. His father threw his mother out of the house, and now they’re going through a nasty divorce while the whole town watches.
Since I’ve been away at college, I had no idea that my brother Aric was the one responsible for destroying Blake’s family.
Or that Blake would stop at nothing to get back at Aric.
And I never thought that I would be used as a pawn in Blake’s revenge, not until it’s too late.
Now I have to make an impossible decision, one that will change everything.
I’ll never forget what Blake did to me; and no matter how much he begs, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forgive him.
BOOK THREE: HAVE MERCY
My relationship with Royal Fitzpatrick has always been complicated and messy. At times, it’s even been incredibly painful.
When I finally decide to stand up to him our senior year, unable to take another second of his bullying, Royal does the last thing I expected – he promises to change his evil ways.
But I’ve been hurt by him for too long. He’s a lost cause.
We are a lost cause.
At least that’s what I tell myself for months until I see him actually become the good, kind man I knew he could be.
Unfortunately, Royal still has secrets, ones he’s intentionally kept from me and his best friends.
So while I was stupidly planning our future together, Royal was just trying to make amends before he says a final goodbye.
WHILE BEG FOR MERCY, CRAVE YOUR MERCY AND HAVE MERCY ARE HIGH SCHOOL BULLY ROMANCES, THEY CONTAIN DARK THEMES, EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT, AND GRAPHIC LANGUAGE INTENDED FOR MATURE READERS.

First time reading Hart
Omg, recommending this series downplays how I really feel! I read these books in less than 3 nights and I could totally get for another! The characters were awesome with their different strengths and struggles, each storyline made me want to continue turning pages for more, and I definitely enjoyed the emotional ups and downs! Can’t wait for more!!
I have previously read each of these novels in this box set as individual ARCs. I would highly recommend this box set for reading. Each are great stories. Here are my original reviews that have been posted on earlier dates.
Beg for Mercy (Book 1)
Re: Mercy
Quite an eye-opener story. Maddie has a lot on her plate, doing everything on her own. Skeptical in trusting anyone, Aric is a rich boy school bully who’s met his match. What starts out as a bet between the 2 of them, unfolds into a journey of trust & revelations. Aric, becomes a better person, the more he hangs around Maddie & she starts to view him differently by liking him more instead of hating him.
Definitely some surprises throughout the book, leaving me wanting to find out what happens in the end.
Crave Your Mercy (Book 2)
Re: Choices – Is This a Mistake?
Excellent story! A difficult choice for 2 teens (Blake & Caroline) who have a first time night without protection. They need to make the best decision, with no regrets & what will turn out to be the ultimate heart-wrenching decision once they are firm on their final option. It will affect both of their lives no matter what the end result will be.
Caroline feels she’ll be a rotten mother & doesn’t want to ruin a young man’s life. It’s not like they love each other & it does look like a plot for the ultimate revenge & she’s the victim.
How much can these two sacrifice? Can they overcome the pressures from their parents on what is the right thing to do? Will these two teens try to find a HEA or accept their one-nighter gift & let him go to parents who could give him more?
Have Mercy (Book 3)
Re: First Loves
Royal & Hanna are complete opposites. He’s been growing up in an abusive home & retaliates as a tough bully, lashing out & keeping to himself. Hanna gets her fair share of his bullying over the years during their school years. At a summer camp, she’s had enough of the bullying & stands up to him, resulting in an agreement to be nice for the 2 months at summer camp. She gets under his skin & they find they are attracted to each other.
Not all is smooth sailing as Garrett, another guy at summer camp, is in love with her & does everything he can to get her to reciprocate the feelings. Royal & Hanna make up, only to realize he’s leaving for boot camp & has 4 yrs of service. Can their love for each other stand the test of time or does she move on? A really good book to read & I would recommend this novel.
This is a great Series and if you think it is “just a teenage angst”, you will find that you are so wrong.
Beg For Mercy- There is a fine line between hate and love. Maddie is excited to be able to attend the prestigious and exclusive Mercy Academy on a full scholarship until she meets The Royals, especially the “head” Royal, Aric Prince. Aric is a talented, quarterback golden boy who lets Maddie know in no uncertain terms that she is lower than the bottom of the social status and is also game for anyone who wants to taunt or gossip about her. When Maddie sees Aric in a very compromising situation, she does what any smart, conniving girl would do…she takes pictures and videos to use to blackmail him. When she starts getting Aric to do whatever she wants with the threat of exposing his secret, we see that fine line between their hate towards each other begin to blur into something starting to resemble love. Maddie finds that Aric is not what she always thought he was, conceited and entitled and Aric begins to see the “real” Maddie that she hides from everyone which is a strong woman with a huge secret that she never trusts to show. There are future books in this series so I hope to see more glimpses of Maddie and Aric to see how they progress.
Crave Your Mercy – It was good to get back to Mercy Academy even with all the issues and problems that abound within the tight knit group of Blake, Aric and Royal. Everyone expects Blake to celebrate his Birthday as usual when all he can think about is how Aric betrayed his trust when he slept with his Mom or the fact that his father has not been around since they found out. Imagine Blake’s surprise when Aric’s sister Caroline whom he has had a bit of a crush on forever shows up in his room. Caroline has some problems of her own but for just one night they are able to leave their problems behind. Little do they realize but that night is the beginning of a different kind of trouble that they can only hope to be able to handle.
Have Mercy – L.A. Hart left the best story of the Mercy Academy Series to the last and it does not disappoint! Throughout the other two books, Royal Fitzpatrick was always the unpredictable one in the friendship trio along with Aric and Blake. Royal kept the trouble and pain his father subjected him to daily from everyone and continued to project the bully/bad boy reputation that was intended to keep others from learning his secret. He has had a crush on Hannah for as long as he could remember and finally wins her over only to lose her due to some conniving from a by who had his own sights set on her. For Hannah, she thought they were becoming a couple after their time at camp only to fall victim to the same deception. This book has such an unexpected turn at the end that caught me by surprise but made the book more perfect. I know this is supposed to be the last in the series but I hope that L.A. Hart’s hint that she might do another book that will showcase Sophie’s story and if that happens, I would love to hear how Aric and Maddie, Blake and Caroline and definitely Royal and Hannah’s lives have progressed. This is one Series you need to add even if you are like me and don’t normally do the teen angst genre. This Series will convince you that they are worth reading.
The Mercy Academy Box set by L.A. Hart three thrilling five-star reads. We start with Beg For Mercy a five-star read that will school you in the best way possible. This was toe-curlingly good, Aric was so close to becoming my new favourite male lead, it’s was so close, but I had a Trick up my sleeve and what a Trick. Lane Hart is one of those authors I would read anything by, and the Mercy series is definitely going to be a new favourite. Maddie blew me away, she was lit with an inner light that just kept her so strong, she showed true strength and resilience her character made me have all the feels as well as some full body chills at the same time, I loved how she was so amazing on the surface, but truly you barely scratched it until you got under it properly. Aric, well it’s fair to say he annoyed the pants off me at first, but he soon had them coming off for other reasons.
Then we move onto Crave Your Mercy a five-star read that will leave you craving more. I was reading at 3am and knew I could drop off until I knew how it ended. This story had me smiling, it had me crying (not the cute crying, but the ugly sobbing) and it warmed my cold dark heart in ways I couldn’t imagine. This is a great story and I came around with Caroline at times I didn’t like her, but when you understand where she is coming from you know why she is like she is and you start to adore her and not only because of the description of her hotness in the cheerleading uniform.
Have Mercy by L.A. Hart a five-star read that shines like Royalty. Royal and Hannah will just astound you, they have a journey that will make you smile, it will make you want to punch someone and then make you cry, not necessarily in that order. Royal has all the makings to either break and fall to pieces or break and be made into something stronger. But you will need to check this out to find out which, thankfully Hannah is there to help sort those pieces but sometimes you have to realise that broken pieces can’t be mended. But Hannah has a journey of her own to make and she needs to learn that she has to learn to help herself before she can help anyone else. Never before have I wanted to go to church camp, but this one made me desperate to spend a summer helping. This is an amazing story, and one you need to read.
Wow! Take a stroll through the complete collection of these YA romance reads by Lane Hart. Each book offers its own brand of romance, drama, roller coaster rides, and love. You will not be disappointed!
Three book complete Mercy Academy series. These are high school bully romance told in dual POV with a HEA. I was not sure I wanted to read these books because I have been out of high school for a LONG time and I thought it would be a lot of drama and angst. I am so glad I took a chance and read them because they were so good! Each book is about a different bully from Mercy Academy and the secondary characters are the same throughout the series.
Beg for Mercy – After spending reluctant time together Aric and Maddie develop an unexpected friendship as they get to know more about one another. Great story!
Crave Your Mercy – Blake has always lusted after his best friend’s older sister Caroline. Caroline is struggling in her first semester at college, and things do not get better for her when she goes home for a weekend. It was hard to like Caroline at first, but you can also see why she behaves as she does. Blake is someone you feel sorry for, he is in a bad situation. I was really wanting him to get his HEA, I just wish it did not take so long to get there – I wanted more happy times! Lots of family interference and angst, but I still loved it!
Have Mercy – Royal is someone you feel sorry for, he is in a bad situation. I was really wanting him to get his HEA, I just wish it did not take so long to get there. I wanted more happy times with Royal and Hannah as a couple! Awesome epilogue!!
This is the perfect way to get this complete series of bully romances with one single click. THe three books included are:
Beg for Mercy (Mercy Academy #1) 5 Stars
I really liked this book and I particularly enjoyed the dynamic between the lead characters. I actually thought that this read delivered a lot more than you’d expect. I feel that too often “bully romances” are used as a free pass for atrocious, unforgivable behavior on the part of the male character in the story and a badly veiled excuse for the female character to admit to herself she likes doing kinky and naughty things. I did not think that this was the case in this book. Sure Aric started out as a first class jerk but Maddie is fierce, strong and no shrinking violet waiting around for some guy to force her to admit to herself who she is and what she wants, because guess what? She already knows! I found that incredibly refreshing and entertaining. The story itself grabs and holds your attention with drama, tension, angst, heat and emotions. I loved witnessing the interactions and chemistry between these two as battle lines were drawn, discoveries were made and feelings took root.
Crave Your Mercy (Mercy Academy #2) 5 Stars
This is another intense and compelling read in this highly enjoyable series. Blake and Caroline’s book is a gripping blend of raw emotions, tension, angst, drama, betrayals, twists and steam. This couple really faces a lot of challenges and saying that their lives and relationship are complicated is quite honestly, a gross understatement.
Have Mercy (Mercy Academy #3) 5 Stars
I admit that bully romances are somewhat hit and miss for me. Surprisingly though, I have enjoyed each book in this series and this one is now officially my favorite. Royal and Hannah’s story just really clicked with me. I felt that this couple very much had that opposites attract, yin and yang thing going on and that really worked for them. My heart bled for Royal and it ached for the many obstacles that these two had to overcome. The chemistry and raw emotions that flow between these two is powerful and intense. The story itself is gripping and keeps you engaged with lots of tension, drama, angst and turmoil. Just a really excellent read.
Three excellent books about young men that appear to be entitled but each one has dark secrets. Hot and steamy, sad and tearful, a definite must read!
Beg For Mercy:
OH MY GAWD…..Lane Hart can write anything…..
Dark Romance
MMA Romance
Football Romance
MC Romance
HS Bully Romance….. HELL YES
Is there something she can’t write….. HELL NO! This is the first HS Bully Romance book I’ve read and now I’m addicted! I inhaled page after page of this seductive, enthralling, emotional story that I devoured it in less than a day! Aric is the arrogant, cocky prick that gets schooled by the one person he wanted to shame…..Maddie. Maddie is the gorgeous, intelligent girl who has caught the attention of the one person who is bound to make her life hell…..Aric. What happens when the two most unlikely people find comfort in each other? You definitely NEED to consume this scorching PAGE-TURNER!
Crave Your Mercy:
After reading Beg for Mercy I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Blake’s story and what a story….. filled with anger, secrets, angst and growth. If you thought you knew what to expect in this story, think again because it definitely had some jaw-dropping moments. Blake it’s still reeling from Aric and his mother’s betrayal and vows for revenge. Caroline is having a difficult time in college and comes home to inform her parents; however, instead she ends up at a party cheering up Blake. Blake and Caroline are two very different people stuck in very difficult situations but can good come from it all?? I guess you’ll need to read this story to find out how it all plays out!
Have Mercy:
I’m sad to see this series end but what better way to end this series than with the enigma that is Royal Fitzpatrick! Royal and Hannah love to hate each other and hate to love each other but it’s those relationships that always end with the best HEA! We’ve followed Royal and Hannah since they were first introduced in book one but we never truly got the “WHY” as to the hate for one another; however, all is revealed in this intriguing story about friendship, hate, anger, lies and second chances. Prepare to be consumed!
If you love dark bully, twisted, steamy, sexy, alpha males with a heart of gold, this is THE box set for you. I have thoroughly enjoyed each book so much. Every book was page turning, rollercoaster, head spinning goodness that you will not be able to stop reading or put down until you have finished.
