Blessed with a high emotional IQ, Phinn Reed enters the world with the promise of finding his soul mate. With heaven’s memories erased, his romantic quest teaches him that the heart often sees clearer than the eyes—and that not everyone has ordered the same items from The Menu. This inspirational love story is heartfelt evidence that love stories come in many different forms.
The Menu by Steven Manchester
Story starts out with Phinn and as a young man he learns he got his girlfriend pregnant and she takes it upon herself to do something about it.
He is able to talk to her and tell her they will figure something out but she has other plans.
After her decision he can never make things right in his mind that he let her and God down and vows if he gets a second chance he would not make the same mistakes.
Being a parole officer he meets a woman he is interested in and they date but after turning her over to another officer to handle her parole-no conflict of interest.
They find such common ground and they are happy with their lives, moving forward. Menu offers all an item that thought was out of their reach.
After the tragedy we also not only hear from Phinn’s life with his family but her side from heaven.
Liked this book quite a bit but for me I found it was a bit beyond my comprehension of believing. Felt like I was getting two stories in this book.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
