“I’m calling it. THE MEMORY WATCHER is 2017’s GIRL ON THE TRAIN! Couldn’t put it down. Couldn’t go to bed until it was over. And that twist in the end! I will buy anything and everything Minka Kent writes.” – Romy, The Riveted Reader Blog
“Autumn’s stalking of the family who adopted her child is a gut-wrenching and heart-pounding exploration of a very disturbed woman’s psyche. Is she a forlorn mother desperate to reconnect with her child? Is she a delusional woman obsessed with a non-existent perfection? Autumn’s bizarre fascination and Daphne’s constant struggle to maintain her family create the perfect blend of mystery, suspense, and intrigue. The author keeps you guessing, and I never saw the twist coming!” – Book Lover, Amazon Reviewer
“Kent’s first novel is a tight, vivid, tense thriller. Fans of Gone Girl, You, and the television series Black Mirror will thoroughly enjoy this debut. Looking forward to More Minka Kent to come!” – Kenneth, Amazon Reviewer

What a twist at the end! I was not expecting the ending.
Wow! This book is so different. It makes you wonder about the people you think you know, the “perfect couple” in your neighborhood, your child’s nanny…………I never saw the ending coming.
I loved it and i could really identify with Autumn. It was well written, although it did jump around a bit. And i so wanted Autumn to somehow end up with her little girl.
Twists throughout
Very well written for a debut, I was mildly surprised when reading along that the Audible narration differed slightly from the text, but since one of changes was for a typo, I figured she was reading a slightly amended version. The narrator was great, well worth the $2. I thought I had the main mystery figured out halfway through, but that turned out to be only one of 3 major twists. The end wrapped up much better than Gone Girl or The Girl on the Train, both of which this book has been compared to. I had no expectations going in, but even if I had, it would have exceeded them.
This book was very slow. I also didn’t care for the ending. The ending felt rushed at the last minute.
This book had a surprise ending that U didnt see coming.
Couldn’t put it down! Great read!
One of the best books I read in a long time. You really won’t be able to put it down. I am going to start her next book The Roommate next. Hope it’s as good as her first.
Well I read the roommate and it was as good as I had hoped.
This book did not end how I expected. Good read.
This book lost my interest and I didn’t finish it. I just couldn’t get into the main character.
Abrupt ending.
Truly a psychological thriller. You won’t guess the ending. This is a good depiction of the inner thoughts of a sociopath.
Interesting story, a bit scary but left some unanswered questions for me. Ending was a little disappointing. Good at the discounted Bookbub price
This was a creative, one of a kind book. I did not expect the ending!
This is the first novel I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it !! What a shocker of an ending. I read it on a road trip and missed all the beautiful scenery because I could not get my nose out of this book !!
I liked this book from the very first chapter. It was written in such a way that kept me turning the page. The characters were so believable and were written about in so much detail. I don’t often get taken completely by surprise, but without giving anything away, I was in this book.
I highly recommend this book and will definitely read more book by this author.
Thought it was very good, I did not expect the ending…
Interesting and wanted to keep reading, but ending was disappointing.
Great debut, interesting plot and several twists. Characters are well-developed and the ending was great, not disappointed.
Tragic story…things are never as they seem
