“5-STARS” — San Francisco Book Review
”…be prepared to toss that suburban fairy tale away, grab on to the steering wheel, and hope that you get through this obstacle course with all your mental faculties… Eva Lesko Natiello shows tremendous talent and courage in her creation of a powerful dichotomy, reaching beyond boundaries.” — San Francisco Book Review
“. . . this one comes along and tears to shreds everything you thought you knew about the genre . . . and just when you think the book may have hit the limits of its genre, another sinister twist pushes it into serious Gone Girl territory.” —Bustle
“The Memory Box is a literary rarity—a story of high imagination cast with characters who seem as authentic as they are complex. From the moment Caroline Thompson dares to Google her own name, the stakes and suspense develop, treating the reader to a “can’t put it down” mystery.”
—Sidney Offit, author of Memoir of a Bookie’s Son
“Epically creepy. . .creepier than Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl. After the last word, I had to take a deep breath, and think of cute, comforting things, like kittens and baby hedgehogs to stop the chills running through me.” —Sally Allen, Hamlethub
“The Memory Box left me feeling stunned . . .” —onlinebookclub.org
“Could not put this book down.” —Jessica Collins, Books, Ink’s

I loved this book. I coudn’t put it down and had to stay up late to finish it.
Weird book, it was described as thriller, but I think it was disjointed. Certainly no thrill, but challenging to follow.
I loved this book. I’ve never read anything like this. Even when I wasn’t reading it, I was thinking about it.
I felt the ending had loose ends. The book just seemed to drag with the same behaviors from the characters. The ending was a surprise but again I think it left the story unfinished .
This book kept me guessing until the end. It hooked me immediately, and I never lost interest.
Could not put it down
a little bit of a slow read
Hated it!!! What a terrible main character- nothing at all to like about her!! What a frustrating book to read, will never pick it up again.
One of those books that leaves you with a syrange feeling when you take a break from reading.
One of the best books I have ever read. So sad when I reached the end, I just wanted the story to go on. I could not put it down. I would compare it to the unpredictable “Gone Girl”, another very favorite book.
The ending was not what I expected! Loved this story!
This was a great book with a good twist or two and a bit of suspense! Some of it was predictable, but I didn’t see the ending coming, so the author gets two thumbs up for that. If there were a “great” rating, I might have used that. I couldn’t use “excellent” because there were parts of the story that just made me sick, and I didn’t like …
Not much
A frenzied mom voice weaved through my consciousness as I became totally absorbed in the story of Caroline and the facade of her perfect family. The palpable desperation as she loses control of her life while searching for answers about her inexplicably unknown past kept me turning the pages, way past my bed time. As the author weaves her tale of …
Interesting until the end.
I don’t even know what to say. This is SUCH a GOOD book. There is no predicting of what happens next. It’s like a shaggy child that runs around and doesn’t stop amazing you. Just read it!
Without giving anything away, I thought the ending eviscerated what the author had worked so hard to build though most of the book. I would not recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book! I look for books that are not so predicatable and with lots of turns. This book was a quick read because I could not put it down!
I didn’t see that ending coming at all.
Great read,
