“5-STARS” — San Francisco Book Review
”…be prepared to toss that suburban fairy tale away, grab on to the steering wheel, and hope that you get through this obstacle course with all your mental faculties… Eva Lesko Natiello shows tremendous talent and courage in her creation of a powerful dichotomy, reaching beyond boundaries.” — San Francisco Book Review
“. . . this one comes along and tears to shreds everything you thought you knew about the genre . . . and just when you think the book may have hit the limits of its genre, another sinister twist pushes it into serious Gone Girl territory.” —Bustle
“The Memory Box is a literary rarity—a story of high imagination cast with characters who seem as authentic as they are complex. From the moment Caroline Thompson dares to Google her own name, the stakes and suspense develop, treating the reader to a “can’t put it down” mystery.”
—Sidney Offit, author of Memoir of a Bookie’s Son
“Epically creepy. . .creepier than Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl. After the last word, I had to take a deep breath, and think of cute, comforting things, like kittens and baby hedgehogs to stop the chills running through me.” —Sally Allen, Hamlethub
“The Memory Box left me feeling stunned . . .” —onlinebookclub.org
“Could not put this book down.” —Jessica Collins, Books, Ink’s
“In her impressive first novel, The Memory Box, Eva Lesko Natiello tells the fascinating story of a woman whose memories piece together a self-portrait she doesn’t recognize—until those memories yield to the terrible secrets they conceal.”

This is the debut book by Eva Natiello and I couldn’t put it down. Caroline, mother of two girls, Googles her own name and what she finds is very disturbing. What Caroline reads can’t be true… Or is it? This book is full of mystery and and Caroline’s paranoia about her life is absorbing. This book has a stunning twist ending.
This is one of my all time favorite psychological suspense thrillers. I have been reading for many years, but this book went straight to the top of my list for horrible stories.
I had to look up the author because it seemed she must be insane to write such an intense and creepy, but modern story. You feel like it could be you! Creepy, deeply …
I could not put this one down. If you’re a fan of Gillian Flynn, you will definitely like this one.
Have you ever Googled yourself just o see what pops up? This is a twisted, convoluted web of psychological…hmmmm…bizarreness. Like a terrible car accident. You want to look away, but, well, you just CAN’T. And you can’t put this book down. With all the crazy twists and turns, you won’t see it coming until it hits you. It will leave you …
This is the story of a madwoman—an unreliable narrator par excellence who creates more twists and turns than a plate of linguine. All the while, I was laughing my ass off at the wry observations of stilted suburban life, and the hilarious inner dialogue comebacks directed at the parade of boobs and morons who actually had the temerity to get in …
I absolutely loved this book. In my opinion it is a must read!
Loved it!
Found this to be an unexpected story.
A spine tingler full of unexpected twists
Liked this book. Will read more of this author!
A great edge of your seat read!!
I couldn’t put this book down. It is a page turner that has a stunning ending.
“Wonderful characters”? Well, the protagonist goes off the deep end. But overall, writing a book from the point of view of somebody with mental issues is a pretty amazing achievement, for which the author needs some serious kudos.
There are a couple of loose ends, which I shouldn’t disclose to those who haven’t read the book.
Not the ending I expected. Great book!
Couldn’t stop reading it, very strange story but very well written
This book was creepy! It kept me off balance until the end. Very enjoyable.
I throughly the people & story. I read it straight thur! Grabbing u from the start.
“The Memory Box” was a poorly written “novel” with a flimsy plot and a laughable “twist” at the end. The idea behind the story was a good one, but the author lacked a clear story and the ability to do the story justice.
Right off the bat, we are subjected to several names and characters, that later don’t even matter. They are there just as the set …
I hadn’t heard of this new genre before reading The Memory Box. Apparently it’s called the marriage thriller and now that I know, it makes perfect sense. The Memory Box is a different kind of thriller, I can say that… but it’s also so much more than that.
When I first started reading, I thought it was about mental illness, until I really got …
This didn’t really capture my attention. Good plot but badly created characters.
