The 3rd instalment in The Bernovem Chronicle is here! This time Kristina’s stayed on in the magical land, to join Hector Mysteria, in the search for the wizard, Azaril Crimson, who’s hidden Bernovem’s Book of Prophecy in the forsaken land of Jalmara. Sentiz is also back and in search of a key item―the Medallion―that she’ll need in order to cast her final spell to rule Bernovem. Things would be … be much easier for her, if only the whereabouts of the Medallion were known.
Join Kristina as she continues her adventure, on her dangerous journey, where she’ll soar high above the land and seas, on the back of a dragon, barely escape the clutches of death, as well as meet someone from her past she’d never dreamed of seeing in Bernovem.

As good as books one & two!
What more can I say that I haven’t already about this series? A plethora of wonderfully creative characters await you in this interesting saga!
It’s chock fulI of potions and spells, twists and turns, and surprises you won’t see coming! And did I mention a dragon too?
This adventure will take you to lands you can only imagine! Buckle up and prepare to enjoy the ride! Great for ages teen and up!
This is a super treat for anyone who loves fantasy books, and no one does it better than Victoria Simcox. This time she brings us The Medallion and the return of Kristina in this exciting, adventurous romp through a magical land filled with mystery, wizards, monsters, even bullies. Not to mention the deceit, wonder, and danger at every turn. She flies through the story riding a dragon. Kristina is the quintessential protagonist to say the least, and even helps deliver a treasure trove applicable life lessons for all of us. I can’t wait for the next one in this spectacular series!
Amazing continuation of the series, which is great for all ages. Some wizardry books are truly only suited for younger readers but this entire series I was grateful to see written in such a manner, and with a storyline that sucks in old and young alike. If you are looking for a story that makes you think, believe in magic again, and not want that last page to be turned – I recommend picking this series up.
The story has many twists and turns and ends with a stunning cliffhanger
Ms. Simcox continues her series with a host of characters, well described by their actions, appearance and what they say. This story, as with the ones before it, will make the reader root for Kristina and Werrien, while despising other characters.
A Medallion was lost on the ship and was found by Kristina. Once again the wicked queen Sentiz and her supporters try to turn everything to their favor. It is up to Kristina and Werrien to stop her, but Werrien is under the magical spell cast by Sentiz. The changing of a character into an insect or other being is well described and the poor character suffers. Kristina is also subjected to many tense moments.
At the end of this story we are left hanging concerning the Medallion. I recommend picking up the fourth book of this series to learn what happens to the Medallion.
The cover is intriguing!
Author, Victoria Simcox, has fabricated a mystical, spellbinding tale in her third installment of the Bernovem Chronicles, The Medallion. This tales takes you on the adventurous and magical journey with Kristina, the Wizard, Hector, and her childhood friend, James.
The cast of characters; some new and some you’ll remember, lead us on this magical adventure in the multi-dimensional land of Bernoven as Kristina tries to find her way back to Werrien who she was separated from in The Shard, while Werrien is in the midst of his own trials.
Victoria has a gift for story-telling and children will fall in love with these stories. With vivid descriptions and thrilling twists and turns, you will keep turning the pages. Ending with a cliff-hanger, leaves you anxious to read the next book. Highly recommended.
