it is a very good book I recommend it to all ages
Author: James Dashner
Title: The Maze Runner
Length: 410 pages
This book consumes the reader like Griever… It’ll have you holding your breath with a pounding heart.
RUN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. BECAUSE IT DOES.
IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF THE MAZE OR THE END?
Thomas wakes up surrounded by nothing but darkness in a lift. He …
I didn’t like this book it just seems like it spofed other books
I absolutely loved this book. I first saw the movie which made me want to read it. Once I started I couldn’t put it down I read the whole trilogy in one weekend. It’s clever realistic and jam-packed with entertainment.
It was a really good book and I will be posting
The main thing I enjoyed about maze runner is the whole secret behind the maze and why it was necessary for the characters to experience such horrors. The Maze Runner makes you question yourself, the world, the main character Thomas and even everyone he meets along the way. It’ll really keep you guessing as to who the true enemies are, especially …
I enjoyed the Maze Runner. Easy and intriguing fun and kept me guessing. Sadly, as the series went on I became more disappointed, as I thought the author could have done so much more with the books, but they are still an entertaining read, with the first being my favourite.
Mindblowing, Outstanding, what do I say!
THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE LITERALLY EVER READ!!!!!!!!! I EXTREAMLY RECCOMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!! PLZ!!!!!! ITS A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!
The made-for-the-maze lingo seemed a bit forced, but otherwise this was a fun summer read: fast-paced, lots of action and adventure, just enough sci-fi hints to keep me intrigued.
Spoiler Alert: Grievers ain’t teddy-bears.
Thomas can’t remember anything before the Maze. Not his family, his home, or even his last name. Despite this, Thomas proves to be an able leader to his fellow Gladers. As the story unfolds in your hands, plots and betrayals are found, risks are taken, and unity must be created, or they will all lose …
I enjoyed this book. Great world building and a page turner. In my opinion the last two chapters are a little too much gore and too much description. The last chapter made we wish he would just end it. The book was good enough for me to get his other books in the series a chance.
This book had been on my to read list for a very long time. The only thing that stopped me from reading it right a way was seeing the movie first. My sister made me watch it when it first came out. I wanted to try and forget the movie as much as possible before reading the books, and I’m so glad I did.
I love this book. James Dasher is one of the authors who inspiried me to write a scfi-dypstopin book: Disconnected.
OMGoodness I loved it. I couldn’t put it down. The story was great, the settings were great, the characters were great. James Dashner writes wonderfully. A great page-turner.
This is my favorite book I have ever read, I absolutely loved it and the entire series.
The idea of the book is excellent, the writing attractive and good. A great book to read before you see the movie
This is an excellent book but you need to read all four books in the series to really see they whole plot. Maze Runner, Scorch Trials, Death Cure and the rhe prequel The Kill Order. They wii have you on the edge of your seat. Way better than the movie adaptation.
It’s hard to rate. I can’t decide between 4.0 and 4.5 Stars.
I wasn’t expecting anything when I started reading. I actually thought this book is going to be hard to read and probably not my cup of tea. But it proved me wrong. I got hyper and couldn’t stop reading. Though it’s not one of my not-put-downable books.
At first I was afraid that the …
Intense and interesting read. This was a very interesting take on how the future would be if it happened. I’m sure that I will be reading the next two.
