Good book.
Loved that this is based on fact and actual historical figures.
Good read, historical and interesting
Having seen the size of the ships then compared to cruise ships now, I wondered how so many people could be in such confines. This book portrayed happenings making it easy for me to visualize what the voyage must have entailed. I enjoyed that new knowledge.
A good romance set against a well researched historical background.
I liked it. Fast reading.. an original story.
Enjoyed the historical part.
The nitty gritty of the early American settlers comes to life in this obviously well-researched historical novel. I defy you to complain about your life — no matter what’s going on — after you read the situations they dealt with daily. The characters and stories are engrossing. I was sorry to see it come to an end.
I’m currently reading this book. So far, it seems good—interesting and well written.
It was a great book to just purely enjoy!
Intertwined with historical backgound.
Very good book was researched very well. This book took me back to the Mayflower and how people lived on the ship.
Very well written story with a lot of history. This story told the real story of what it was like living on a ship with too many people for months. The hardships, death and yet a love story that was beautiful. Awesome how God’s Word was used and how it affected each character.
This was a good wholesome book. I’d recommend this to any reader that likes romance and not a lot of sex scenes. There aren’t any in this book!
This was of interest to me particularly because I am a descendant of a woman who came over on the Mayflower with her Dad and Brother. The dad and brother did not make it through the first winter and she married a man who came over on the Mayflower with his father. The book gave me perspective of what it was really like for my ancestors.
Worth reading
A must read. Imagine yourself on the Mayflower and coming to a whole new world.
A god d book but not the best I’ve read. Realistic regarding the travel.
” The Mayflower Bride” by Kimberley Woodhouse
I really liked this story… For me it was a very difficult read. I knew a bit of the Mayflower voyage story.. but until now, well I never really felt what it was like for the people who populated this ‘journey of faith’. I vote for this story to be a “Book Club” read. If you get emotionally involved in the stories you read… be sure to come prepared!
Very well written. Kept your interest
