The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton
The Matchmaker’s Match is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series, and a wonderfully written story that I couldn’t put down once I started reading. I’ve read the other two books in this series but this one is my favorite. I love the characters of Meredith and Lincoln aka Linc. Meredith is a woman who has new goals in life and she plans to achieve them. Her past relationships didn’t work out so well.ILove her attitude and she’s a strong intelligent yet independent woman. Linc is a military man,who has made some bad choices until he met Meredith. These two have instant chemistry. There is definitely an attraction towards each other. What happens when these two meet for a second time? Can these two have a future together? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton
Stars:4
This story is Meredith’s and Lincoln’s story. They meet without any expectations, except for a good time. Their chemistry is hot, but they really didn’t think that the see each other again. However, life likes to knock ya down a bit. Each have their own struggles and strengths. They were a fantastic couple to read about. They were relatable. So far, I have enjoyed this series, and this story was a great addition.
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton is a contemporary romance. Nicole Flockton is a creative author and it shines brightly within this series. If you haven’t read another book in this series, you are absolutely missing out. In The Matchmaker’s Match, it’s a typical tale of the best man vs the maid of honor in the wedding party scenario, yet it is so much more than that. The author has add a mix of humor, sweetness and serious moments to make this a truly well rounded novel. Linc and Meredith are unique and captivating in this series despite the personal flaws that mark each of them. Reading through their inner development, as well as, working through obstacles in their path(s), it created a beautiful story that touches your soul.
The Matchmaker’s Match is the 3rd book in the Man’s Best Friend Series by Nicole Flockton. As the series name suggests, an adorable dog plays a very important role in the story. Each of these books can be read as a standalone. The characters from previous books are part of the story so If you are going to read them all, then I’d suggest you read them in order.
When your life is not going too great, the last person you want to see when you are bridesmaid at your best friend’s wedding is the hot guy that you had an amazing one night stand with as the best man. But when an emergency strikes at the rehearsal dinner Lincoln is the one who is there for Meredith to give her support.
I really loved the interaction between school teacher Meredith and K9 handler Lincoln. There are some funny, sad, emotional, heart-wrenching moment between the 2 of them and many of those surround the gorgeous little scene stealer, puppy Buster.
I loved that we got to see the couples from the 2 previous books and had updates on their stories. They are not just there as scene fillers, they are relevant to the story and are a valuable addition to the story.
I hope there is more to come from the Man’s Best Friend Series as I’ve loved it so far. Definitely worth reading.
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton was a sweet, military romance, that hooked me from start to finish.
This series has become a fav of mine, it’s more than a sweet romance, it has a bit of mystery, suspense, and just a touch of action; with a cute dog that just keeps you flipping the pages. So don’t be fooled by the page count, this book may be short but it’s packed to the gills with everything that gets those feels going and the heart pumping. She’s small but mighty.
This story follows Link and Meredith as they navigate this crazy thing call love. Their meeting is suppose to be a one night thing, just two people passing in the night. It was a great start and you can feel the chemistry instantly. Meredith knew what she wanted and she went after it. I love when the female MC makes that first move. Confidence is sexy. As the story moved on, and we get into the main plot, things heat up, get witty, fun and so entertaining, that I just couldn’t stop reading if I wanted to.
Overall this book is a must read and it gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval
Happy Reading

I really enjoyed this story it kept my full attention throughout! One thing I love in this novel is the banter I mean come on we all love it where’s life without some banter too top it off there is some steamy scenes and some heartbreaking moments too so there is enough action to keep you on your toes in this storyline . I loved the character’s they really brought this story too life and are also relatable. This read was one of those reads I just sat down with a cheeky cider and just got lost amongst the pages I can’t wait to read more from this author.
The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series. I have enjoyed this series because there is always a dog playing a part in the romance. After a one night stand, Meredith does not think she will ever run into Lincoln again. Paired up at her best friend’s wedding the two have to decide if there might be a second chance waiting for them.
I enjoyed both Meredith and Lincoln and was rooting for them. They are a good match and highlight each other’s strengths and help with the other’s weaknesses. I also enjoyed the story because they are not perfect and have issues to get over in order to move on and go forward with their lives. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
The Matchmakers Match is Book 3 in the series and is just as good as the others in the series. I love any kind of romance, second chance or basically anything with dogs. These books all have dogs in them. Not just any dog but the dog holds important roles in the story itself.
In this book, Linc and Meredith meet one night and have the best night. Meredith is nursing a broken heart and figures she will throw caution to the wind and have fun for once. When she meets Linc he is everything her body could ever want in a man. She thought he said his name was Luke and he never corrected her. The next morning she is gone without a trace. These two thought they would never see each other again but, we know better don’t we? About a month later they see each other in church. It just so happens Linc is the best man and Meredith is the maid of honor in a wedding. What are the chances?
Meredith has to leave the rehearsal because of massive pains she is having and Linc is the one to take her out of there.
This is messing up all Meredith’s plans. She plans to have a baby on her own and doesn’t want a man in her life. Linc and Meredith try to fight the feelings they have for each other but it’s useless. The chemistry between them is insane even though a bunch of stuff happens between them they are both falling for each other hard! Then you throw the rescue dog into the mix.
What would’ve happened if Linc didn’t leave the army and set up that interview? Fate has a funny way of making things happen when they need to. Loved this book and cannot wait for more.
I just love the Man’s Best Friend series by Nicole Flockton. It is a sweet, fun, and innocent stories. Nicole Flockton has taken some of the most embarrassing situation and turn it into something magical. This story is one of those situations. Your best friend is getting married and you agree to be the maid of honor. You would not have any idea that the groom’s best man is the person who you may have had a one night stand with. This is Meredith Turner’s life and what’s worse is that she needs to leave the rehearsal dinner early. Lincoln Forrest has not had the best of luck with his decisions in his life. He is trying to turn his life around. In that process he is trying to help Meredith out. Will Meredith be able to let Lincoln help her? Will Lincoln be able to help Meredith? Will both Meredith and Lincoln overcome the awkwardness and move on with a fresh new relationship?
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet, emotional love story about Meredith Turner and Lincoln Forrest. Meredith hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men so when she sees the guy (Lincoln) who she had a one night stand with she’s so embarrassed. She knows she has a bad track record but she can’t resist Lincoln. Lincoln has also made a lot of bad choices, the worst one being leaving the Army. He was a former K-9 handler as well and he’s looking for a new career. When Lincoln and Meredith meet again at a Wedding they can’t resist each other. The sparks fly between them. Buster the dog is so adorable in this book and I wanted a Buster of my own. Will Meredith and Lincoln try to make it work between them or will they let past hurts keep them from having a future together?
The Matchmaker’s Match is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series by Nicole Flockton, I missed the first one in the series but since they can read as standalones it didnt cause any problems with me keeping up with the story line.
I love the human characters but the dogs always sucker me in and I end up loving them so much. Buster made me smile every single time, even during less happy parts.
Linc may be my latest book boyfriend, he melted my heart every chance he got by being the ideal man or at least in my eyes.
Meredith may not have had the best childhood but her life was far from the worse. I have ever read about. The way she is with Buster was so sweet and it made me like her that much more.
Great story which I enjoyed every moment of. Looking forward to seeing another book in this series and meeting another dog.
I have read the first two books in this series so I was ready to go when this book came out. The first two books in the series were matched by the main character in this book Lincoln. Lincoln and Meredith are the couple of this book and of course all the books are centered around a dog. I love how light and carefree these books are. If you want to enjoy witty banter, funny moments and of course the love of a dog this book is for you! I absolutely love this series and Nicole Flockton has now become a go to author for me.

This is my third book by this author and I really enjoyed this one as much as I did the first. There are many reasons I like the premise of these stories and one of them is the canines that play a large part of the storylines, Im a sucker for that and I was not disappointed in this one.
I also love the one night stand that happens in the past and then comes back later to play a part in their lives, those are some of my favorites and how this one came back into their lives was great. There were a couple twists in this story that totally caught me off guard and again something that makes a book great in my opinion. I read this in one sitting as I could not put it down once I got started.
Linc and Meredith had that spark that is undeniable and of course there are way too many complications to make that as easy as it should be. This one had me feeling all the feels and I was pulling for them the entire book. I was a bit worried towards the end and wanted to slap someone and would have if I couldve.
I highly recommend reading these books, you won’t be sorry and each one can be read as a stand alone
Loved it! I can’t wait for more from this author.
Whether you are reading for the book summary that caught your eye or the cute pup on the cover, you won’t be disappointed. The characters, both human and canine, are well developed and have distinct voices. I found the story to be a quick, easy read and one that was just pure fun for me. Once I started I jumped straight in. This was a quick read for me and highly enjoyable. You definitely won’t go wrong giving this book, this series, and this author your time. Loved it!

The Matchmaker’s Match was a really nice romantic read! It was well written and whilst it is the third book in the series it is perfectly fine to read as a standalone! It has definitely made me want to read the others in the series too! Because I found the story so easy to read I read it quite quickly. I really liked the characters and thought that they were likeable and relatable! I liked that the characters path to a HAE wasn’t all plain sailing, there were some unexpected twists and turns which made the story a little less predictable than I thought it was going to be! There were a few times where I really felt a huge connection to Meredith and I think although detailed the author approached everything really respectfully.
Overall I thought that this was a really lovely read and I would recommend it to other readers! I look forward to reading more from Ms Flockton again in the future!
This is the third book in this series but can easily be read as a stand alone. I enjoy the whole “dog” aspects of these books. They are written like secondary characters and not just as home decor. Lincoln is a character from book 1 (which I haven’t read) and it’s finally time for him to get his romance on. He has seen his best friends life and decides he would like that for himself. When Linc and Meredith first meet…its H-O-T! A one night stand of fun! Both are beyond shocked upon meeting again a month later.
Meredith is a good character but I almost felt Linc’s plight more. I don’t think Merediths character went deep enough. She seems very soft and kind although at times single minded. She does have some good supporting characters. Linc has his own concerns but once he connects with Meredith he starts placing hers before his. Which should mean something right? I loved his excitement over working again and seeing him at work with his dog.
Overall this is a good story. It lightly touches on a few things but doesn’t let them weigh down the story. The book is quick and easy to read. The story flows nicely and the characters are so cute. As mentioned before I also enjoy the whole dog theme running through the books.
The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series. This is fun and easy read that can be read as a standalone.
The characters in this book are brilliant. I loved the chemistry they clearly had together and yet at the same time they were sweet and relatable. They were really enjoyable to read about. I liked how the whole story progressed. I felt like it provided great character development and was well paced.
This is the kind of book that is perfect for that lazy afternoon where you put your feet up and get lost for a few hours. This is a book definitely worth reading.
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton is a fun contemporary
romance and another great addition to the series. It can also be read as a standalone. The
characters are fully developed and are fun and oh so hot, the air was sizzling when they were
around each other. They each had things from their past they had to work through and things as
a couple but it is such a sweet and interesting read that I read it all in one sitting.
Meredith has just come face to face with the man she never thought she would see again and
one that has been relived in her fantasies, but here he is at her best friends wedding.
Linc has returned home after plans fell through. Now he has to rethink his long term goals and
apparently that just may include the one woman he can’t get out of his mind and never ever
thought would be in his life, but fate might just have other plans.
I highly recommend this book and this series. You know you want to.
Nicole Flockton is rapidly becoming one of my favorite writers. I read her books like people eat potato chips.
This is the 3rd entry in the sweet, funny series Man’s Best Friend (each book features a dog that plays an important part in the plot). This time around, the guy who set up his friends in the first 2 books, gets his own love story.
Linc is such a good guy and you absolutely root for him and Meredith. They have instant chemistry and you really feel their highs and lows.
Wouldn’t mind seeing more editions to this series. It’s a quick, fun read.
The Matchmaker’s Match, is Nicole Flockton’s latest book offering. It is a nicely written contemporary romance that takes place in San Antonio, Texas. This is the third book from the author’s Man’s Best Friend series and it can be read as a standalone.
School teacher Meredith Turner, and K-9 Handler Lincoln Forrest, share a night of amazing sex and passion after meeting at a bar in San Diego. When they see each other again at the rehearsal dinner of their very best friends a week or so later, they are beyond shocked. In addition and simultaneously, Meredith experiences a health scare and Linc is the one who takes her to the hospital. Overtime, they develop their quasi-friendship into true love.
I liked this book and Ms. Flockton does a terrific job of developing the characters and plot. Meredith and Linc are hot, both in and out of the bedroom. I really liked Meredith’s little dog Buster, because he was loaded with personality and charm. The last few chapter were especially exciting, with an epilogue that solidified Meredith and Linc’s love.
