I really enjoyed the Matchmaker’s Match. Fun, steamy, laugh out loud funny in parts. It surprised me a couple of times–in a good way!–when things didn’t turn out quite like I expected. Don’t want to give anything away so I won’t say more. I’ll be looking for the first two books in this series.
The Matchmaker’s Match is a sweet tale of found love. These two characters are just meant to be. From an explosive one night stand to best man/maid of honor at a wedding and all the other things that bring these two together. I loved watching these two come together and heal each other. Linc was sigh worthy and Buster is just adorable.
The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3)
By: Nicole Flockton
5 out of 5 stars
The story The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton is a contemporary/military romance book. It is a story that drew me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the last page. I found myself getting lost in the storyline and reading about the characters. I loved reading about Meredith Turner and Lincoln Forrest. Meredith is a woman whose past relationship didn’t work out. She now has new goals and is determined to achieve them. She is intelligent, strong, and independent. Lincoln is a man who believes that he just keeps making the wrong decisions in his life. The one that he doesn’t regret has to do with Meredith. When Meredith and Lincoln meet for the second time at a best friend’s wedding the attraction that they have for each other has not diminished. There are desire and chemistry between them. Is this their second chance? What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. The story has emotional dialogue and romantic moments that make the temperature in the room rise. It is a story that gives you the “feels” and you can’t help but wish to find love as deep as this couples. I grew to care about Meredith and Lincoln with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. There are other characters that are introduced that I enjoyed reading about and they are good friends with Meredith and Lincoln. Man’s best friend plays a part in this story and I love when an author incorporates animals into the storyline. This is the next amazing story in a series that have characters that come alive on the pages. Highly recommended.
I have come to enjoy this series and this story was just as engaging and entertaining.
The story revolves around Meredith Turner and Lincoln Forrest.
Lincoln, recently left the Army and was in San Diego, supposedly for a new job. Meredith was on her way home, when they met by chance in a hotel bar in San Diego. Neither expected the immediate chemistry. After spending the night together, each went their separate ways.
A month later they meet again at a wedding rehearsal of mutual friends. Fate brings them together, and an experience bonds them, but both are at a crossroad in their lives. Neither sure what the future will bring.
In the midst of their dilemma , we have a cute rescued dog, and friends that want them together.
A sweet romance worth your time.
I was entrusted a copy of this story by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Classic miscommunication
These things don’t happen if you unpack your emotional baggage with your partner. Sex is awesome and the honeymoon stage is nice, but you have to show every bit of yourself in order to have a foundation. Good, bad, or indifferent they have to know or else miscommunication happens. Heck even when you know sometimes you still don’t provide what your partner needs. Communication is the basis of any good relationship.
I enjoyed story. It was a quick read. An unusual start to romance.
Fun easy read.
A bit predictable. Not one I will remember or want to read again.
I liked Logan a lot and Meredith grew on me. I didn’t really understand her need ot get pregnant and do it alone a she “didn’t have time to meet someone, she needed to get pregnant now”. In the end it all worked out.
I struggled to finish book. I just couldn’t connect with the characters.
Great feel good story.
