What a great story! This is a true page turner. Mia is a doctor who only needs to complete 2 years of residency to get her license. She starts dating a man who turns out to be a Mafia boss and Dan is very mean to her. She then realizes that she is pregnant and Dan has decided that she is not going to leave him as he wants his child and swears to never let her go. A Norn is watching the argument when Dan has found her to take her back to his place. She sends Mia back in time to the early age of the Vikings! Hakon is waiting for the appearance of his future bride who is the daughter of his enemy. When Mia suddenly He grabs her and takes her to his village. Mia realizes that he thinks she is someone else, but decides to go along with being the Princess to protect her baby. When she arrives in the village she realizes that a whooping cough epidemic is going on and her training and instincts kick into gear to try to save them.
She and Hakon are married and she learns that the villagers all consider him the Beast because of a birthmark on his face. Can she heal him too? Can she change the villagers outlook toward him? This is a fantastic book. I really love how the characters are developed and how well some broken hearts are mended. You will not be disappointed
The third book in the Called by a Viking Series a well written story that held my interest throughout. Mia comes from 2019 Boston to Norway, 874 with the help of a Norn and meets Hakon the Beast. Their story will be one of suspense, drama, disease, and coming together in one time where they can be happy. I enjoyed reading this book it flowed smoothly from one page to the other, with a very good storyline. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! I was mesmerized by this romantic, heart-warming, time-traveling story!!! This is, by far, one of the BEST I’ve read in a long time!!! Mia lives in Boston with a horrible man who won’t let her go. She’s given the opportunity to get away and she agrees. Only she finds herself in 875 AD and told she must marry a Viking or lose her life.
This story had me sobbing by the end it was so touching, sweet, and hot!!! There’s time travel and a bit of magic! There’s tortured souls and unexpected love!!! It’s a FABULOUS READ!!!

A fantastic page-turner of a romance. I liked the story and enjoyed the progression of the two main characters. Mia is on the run and goes back in time. She meets Hakon who believes she is his bride. Excellent writing.

I loved this sexy time travel romance with gjreat characters, romance and intrigue. Mia was from the 21st century and she found out her fiance was MaNagua boss and would not let her leave, especially after finding out she was pregnant with his child. A born gave her a golden spindle and she ended up by a Viking rune in 874. A man on horseback grabbed her and called her a different name and took her to be married immediately. They both had issues and
there were complications, but the ending was great.

This is intriguing, intense and entertaining. Hakon is stubborn, tough, caring, generous and fierce. Mia is strong, vulnerable, caring and bold. After Mia flees from her abusive boyfriend, he finds her and tries to take her home, but an old lady who was sitting next to them asks her if she wants a way to escape. Mia jumps at the chance to escape, and finds herself 1100 years in the past. Hakon has been plotting the king’s death for 2 years, and the king gave him a way in. He is to marry Princess Arinborg, and fight at the king’s side. The marriage would take place months later when the princess arrived at a sacred spot, alone. When he time comes to meet the princess, Hakon goes alone, and finds a bear read to attack Princess Arinborg and races his horse to her, grabs her and goes back to his village. When asked if she was Princess Arinborg, and told that she would be killed if she wasn’t, she became Arinborg. Stubbornness and lies are what their relationship starts with, but that gradually changes.
